I'm looking for a good, sturdy metal ddr pad. I have been through the RedOctane Metal Pad (Not the Afterburner, the old one), and a Tournament Pro pad from HartsUnlimited. My problem with the Tournament Pad was that there were no recesses for the arrows, and there were no buttons period, just a big metal platform with sensors. The problem that I had with the RedOctane pad was that I found myself sticking to the arrows when I played with shoes one, also it tore up quite easily. I have already repaired it like 5 times. I just want to know what you guys (and girls) find to be the best pad so far. I just want a good pad that can withstand my 300 lb body while dancing so that I can lose some weight.

Thanks in Advance

DO NOT POST A "WHICH PAD SHOULD I GET?" OR A "PAD X VS. PAD Y" THREAD.
If you're trying to choose between two or more pads, then post IN THE THREADS FOR THOSE PADS. Do NOT make a new thread for this.

DO NOT POST A "WHICH PAD IS THE BEST?" THREAD.
If you really want to know, do some research. You'll narrow it down pretty quickly. Do *NOT* post a thread asking for information that you could have easily found by looking - why should anyone else exert effort on your behalf when you were too lazy to find out yourself?

Cobalt Flux are generally the best pads according to most here. They can support up to 600 lbs I believe they claim. They have still worked great after taking heavy abuse (being driven over by a car, suv, and scooter; there are a few movies of this out there, one of which I think is on the CF site).
Only problem is the cost: $300 + ~$45 shipping (unless you are willing to pick up the pad on your own, in Utah I think it was). Also, it is generally flat except for the screws, but they sell an arcade kit for $25 + shipping I believe.

It uses a thick wood base, uses sheet metal for contacts, and is very hard to kill (unless you play on shag carpeting, but read the Cf thread about that problem and a fix). It requires some cleaning, but that isn't too bad considering its strength and responsiveness.
