Stepmaniax and pump it up

I have stepmania for xbox "stepmaniax" and i was curious as to the PIU support for the game I have had many people tell me that it doesnt work, i dont want to waste resorces getting PIU files if i cant use them on my xbox, and using it on the computer is not an option. I do have the most recent version of stepmania "v5" but i was curious if anyone would by chance have played on there xbox personally would be able to tell me if it is possibly, if so besides switching the game modes in the options menu is their anything u have to do in the settings or reconfigure a .ini?
