Simply put, what kind of DDR games would you LIKE to see?
You are probably aware that they're making a DDR: Mario Mix (Don't believe me? Check this out) soon...so I got to thinking...what if other Nintendo characters had their own DDR games as well?
Examples:
DDR: Hyrule Jam (remixes of Zelda music galore)
DDR: Pokemix (includes all the Pokemon anime OPs and EDs, movie themes, and remixes of the game music) _________________

Sorry, but I'm going to do a slight variation:
Adult Swim mix (just imagine for a sec before reading further ):
-Cowboy Bebop songs
--Tank! (but do the original, the remixes can't compare)
--Ask DNA (movie intro)
--Want It All Back ("Chasing Ein")
--Rush
-Trigun songs
--the commercial break signal / guitar riff
-Lupin the 3rd
--TV show intro (oh come on, you know you want it!)
-Samurai Champloo
--Intro theme song (It would be an awesome song, you gotta admit)
-Aqua Teen Hungeer Force
--Intro theme song (Attention-gathering mania!)
-FLCL songs
--Ride on Shooting Star
-S-CRY-ED songs
--Reckless Fire (the intro theme would be too perfect!)
-Futurama songs
--Futurama cast's rendition of "Don't Worry, Be Happy"
And More!!!
Howzat for a first try? |

Everyone knew about this weeks before there was even an official report. No one wants it, its horrible.
Stick with DDR and ITG, using other things as a DDR would be stupid.
IE: Look at DDR Mario Mix. |

Except for the fact that it will bring new people to DDR (which I believe is a good thing).
Ok, you can go back to the topic at hand... |

I've always dreamed of a Sonic the Hedgehog Themed DDR!
Yanno, with all those Crush 40 songs and maybe a few intrumentals or so. I've loved Sonic music like heck and it just seemed awesome... |

Imagine DDR AS backgrounds! *Thinks people will start doing AS DDR backgrounds* |

So what you mean is...

On topic, I would like to see a broader variety of video game music, but sadly I think something like DDR: The Music of Video Games is not going to happen because there would be too many companies involved.

1. If we're talking about console games, this is the wrong forum.
2. Konami probably wouldn't spend the money to liscense so much material when they're doing fine the way it is. _________________

DDR has a Lupin The 3rd song, and ITG2 has the Adult Swim theme.

I'd love to hear the OPENING verse to Freckles. Wait is this another wanted songs thread?
Oh yeah, i'd also like to do DDR: Pink Floyd edition. It'd be so hard to do some of their songs with the weird noises and no melody. _________________

Papersak - A Sonic the Hedgehog DDR would be awesome! Unfortunately,
I think only Sonic himself would be fast enough to dance to those songs!
-------------------------------------------------
Mckeelsux and !!!!, the song Lupin III song that already exists is from
the 1978 motion picture; I meant the Lupin III TV series (#2) ending
theme song, which is a remix, I guess. It would qualify as a new song.
-------------------------------------------------
vengabnadit - D'OH!!! I guess I left that one out sorry!
-------------------------------------------------
Zonic505 - Adult Swim background pictures! Adult Swim BG and
flash animations! Oooohhhh... *Speeds to the Imaging forum*
-------------------------------------------------
!!!! - Did you say that ITG2 has the Adult Swim theme? I didn't know
Adult Swim even had its own theme song! Which one is it?!?!
I'm gonna go dance to it maybe 100 times!!! I'm friggin' obsessed!
-------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------
Ooh, Ooh, how about a Classic Rock DDR? I know it probably wouldn't
really work, but the concept is just awestriking!!!

There's already 2 Classic rock songs and 1 80's pop song on DDR Extreme. Though a whole mix dedicated to rock songs of that era would be nice. My idea would be a Heavy Metal DDR....like some easier steps to Rhapsody songs. |
