Are there any songs you think could be made better by changing the stepchart? My thoughts:

Hysteria - should be put into triplets (especially the jump-U-D parts).

Tsugaru - the skips should be 12ths, not 16ths.

Aoi Shoudou - would be much more fun if it had more stream and fewer annoying jumps on weird beats.

Long Train Runnin' - duh

5.1.1. - at least put enough steps in the song to make it worth the 18.75 cents you had to pay for it

YMCA, just my personal oppinion feel that they screwed it up and all the beats should be about an 1/16 or so different to fit the flow of the song...

Tsugaru - in addition to fixing the gallops, they should use 12th notes for the triplets in the next section (instead of approximating them with 64th and 16th notes).

Cutie Chaser (morning mix) - How about some more steps for heavy? C'mon, I feel like I'm playing on light! biggrin.gif

Healing Vision (angelic mix) - the steps should be arranged so you don't have to double step or spin around.

Seriously, those steps are genius. The double step happens to the beat of the music and that's the effect the creators were going for.

The song does seem a little off. Then again, I've only played it once or twice.

The steps in Tsugaru are awesome. I love the gallops the way they are...I don't see how timing them differently could fit the song any better.

But ha, yes, I agree 5.1.1 should have way more steps. Actually, I would say the same about Graduation.

Steps that just "feel wrong" to me:

-Vanity Angel
-Cutie Chaser (Morning Mix)
-Little doggy (Heavy for Extreme. 5th mix steps are genius)
-On the Jazz

What he's trying to say is the steps make sense because you will need angels to use their powers of "healing vision" (similar to laser vision only with the opposite effect) on you when you finish because you will be dead.

What do you mean, "duh"? The steps for Long Train Runnin' are awesome if you know how to spin them.

If that's the case, then I wish they'd make it so you have to hit the same arrow twice in a row, rather than moving your foot over to a different arrow.

The beat of the music is subdivided into triplets, whereas the beat of the gallops is subdivided into sixteenths. So the gallops should be:
101,101,101,101 (where 1 is a step, 0 is a rest, and commas show the beat divisions)
instead of:
1001,1001,1001,1001

If you listen to Tsugaru in training mode with the handclap on, the ugly "three against four" effect is quite obvious, especially if you slow it down.

Just thought of another song: Only You. The steps are REALLY easy and boring, and they don't fit the music at all (they should have used "swung" 8ths instead of normal ones).

5.1.1 Heavy- COME ON! The song only has 105 steps (counting jumps as 2). At least make it about 300 steps.

22Dunk- This has the potential to be exactly to the rhythm of the song, like So Deep, and the edit I made has 418 steps.

Cutie Chaser (Morning Mix)- It's too easy for heavy. See 22Dunk.

More coming...

Sakura
trip machine Survivor
Vanity Angel
Healing Vision (Not Angelic Mix, an edit of Healing vision with more chaos and slowed down to the intro tempo would be better)

Then you have no sense of rhythm. Ever played Burning Heat? The Reflex? If you think those don't need new charts, then you have no hearing.

Is it just me or does any1 else have difficulties with the rhythm in Trip Machine Survivor? The stepchartis a bit odd, but its just hard to hear a definate beat in the song.

Ummmm Burning Heat is Perfect. The Reflex could use some tweaking.

Burning Heat SHOULD be perfect, but isn't because of the glitch in DDR. So what I meant by a new chart was that it needs to be synced right somehow.

Fantasy from Lockout. That song has a lot of potential to be a good heavy song.
