Dignity is on the home version, just super hidden. (If you have doubts, look in the credits on the last few pages of the instruction book: 'Diginity[sic] by Crash' is listed.)
I think it's the last one you get, but I could be wrong; that's probably Canon-D if not. _________________

Excellent game, one problem though, the pad. Im not used to soft pads either. I have a cobalt flux. Does anyone know of a way that i can change the button mapping with some sort of converter or something so that it works with PIU? _________________

Having a bit of DDR/ITG experience under my belt, I was able to easily handle everything on Normal mode on Pump It Up (after taking a few songs to learn the foot positioning) and some songs on Hard... but Freestyle mode, yikes, forget about it. I appreciate the songlist someone posted that helped me to pick out the easiest Freestyle mode songs to try, but even doing the 3- and 4-rated ones, I could barely pull C's on a few of them. I get really messed up by all the steps being the same color regardless of timing, and by the lack of an x1.5 speed mod. Even the easiest Freestyle stepcharts are much harder than Light Double on DDR, featuring a ton more both-pad jumps, eigth note runs involving both pads, and rapid back-and-forth movement. I guess I need to work on getting comfortable with Hard mode before tackling Freestyle mode, because PIU has no doubles equivalent to Normal/Light to let you break in gently like DDR/ITG does, which is a shame because Doubles on Pump It Up has so many more combinations of foot positions to learn than DDR/ITG does. |
yea its really a big jump unlike with didder ive got one double and one hard each under my belt and no more of either in any apricible fute i think
id like i amend that statement
i just passed turkey march with a C and a sight read _________________

There's no easy way to do it. The game unfortunately doesn't have the ability to remap. But what some people have done is wire up their own custom control box (or rewire an existing control box) so that the pad will wind up sending the "correct" button signals to the console. You can find these people on the Cobalt Flux forums, and I'm pretty sure at least one of them posted a little documentary with photographs of the process.
There was some petitioning for Cobalt Flux to release a new control box that'd be compatible with the PIU console games, but since they still haven't even bothered to release an XBox or PC control box yet despite raging demand, it seems incredibly unlikely that they'd release a modified control box just for one game. _________________

The impression I'd gotten was that the XBox-compatible control box has been delayed so that they can add PIU support as well. |

(This is Akuma )
According to EBT you can't play 10 of the same song to unlock the song you're able to unlock after 10 songs (In sudden death or something )
He was the one playing, not me.... But he made me post _________________

Just got my copy of PIU Exceed and WOW A lot more tiring then DDR. In some ways a lot more enjoyable too, the songs are really easy to actually dance to. Played DDR for about 4 years and now I wish we had a PIU Machine in my city .
Not used to the soft pad either, but I'm broke as hell to try and buy/make a hard pad so I guess I'll have to really take care of this soft one >.>;. Anyone got tips to how to keep soft pads in good condition to make them last? _________________

Well, i hear that if you cut a piece of plywood the same size as the pad and then seran wrap the pad to it it should last a long time. _________________

they seem to be kind of ambiguous
and it really blows that andimaro made it so you cant tell if youve playe da song before r not (also witha lack of score keeping) makes this so much arder _________________

Yo everyone, I've been posting stuff on the Gamefaqs board about PIU PS2 song unlocks, and here's the basic breakdown of what has been confirmed:
Distance Unlocks:
My Way - BanYa (10 Km)
One Love - S'Max (50 Km)
CANON-D - BanYa (100 Km)
Arcade Unlocks (1 Round = 4 Completed songs):
Point Break - BanYa (10 Rounds)
Dignity - Crash (50 Rounds)
Survival Unlocks:
Street Showdown - BanYa (10 songs in a row)
Monkey Fingers - BanYa (20 songs in a row)
Flamenco - Oliver (30 songs in a row)
I'm (as well as probably everyone else) is still working on getting "Go" and "We Don't Stop." Apparently, I haven't gotten to 100 completed arcade rounds, but I have a feeling that may be the unlock for "Go." "We Don't Stop," now there's a different story...
Hope everyone finds this useful .

I unlocked We Don't Stop by playing a lot of arcade mode... Go is the final unlock... unless by the time you reach this point you have not reached 100Km. |

Nice find Tsuri. I'll be working on getting an official count. I'm thinking [read: hoping] that it will unlock at 100 Arcade rounds.
Did you, by any chance, get Go as well?
