Hey, I just discovered a brand-new website that can serve as either an alternate contingency website for bemanistyle.com users who cannot share simfiles or a new home for submitting your simfiles if you want to have a brand new start. It is available if you are interested in a new site. If you want to continue waiting for bemanistyle.com to come back, I fully understand. I have opened a new account there and depending on the success of this site, I will either return to bemanistyle.com in March 2006 or leave there for good. You can check out my simfiles there; my simfiles are awesome and are designed for ITG. I have a different username there. The link to the new website is below.

I uploaded the Ferry Corsten Remix because I enjoy it much better than the original mix and when it was uploaded in bemanistyle.com a long time ago, people loved it! It's one of my favorite songs and I am really into trance songs that go heavy on synthesizers. The steps are fun and are made for freestylers. Expert Doubles makes you look like Donkey Kong doing handslaps in Donkey Kong Country. laugh.gif

I always love when people get all dramatic about "leaving" websites. It's like they're moving out of the country or something in some huge political outrage.

And wow, 3 simfiles!! Hol-ee! Screw Bemanistyle, I'm hoping on this bandwagon right away. </sarcasm>

I'm with Ninjas on this one... something just screams "flop" about this site. Plus, I highly doubt they have the resources (bandwidth, etc) to even come close to what bemanistyle provides.

Ok so you keep talking about leaving Bemanistyle just because there was something wrong with the hardware. I'm pretty sure that these kind of things happen to EVERY website atleast once. Heck even DDRFreak has had trouble. I'd understand if you temporarily left to host some sims while BMS is down, but totally leaving just because of some hardware trouble that can be fixed within the next week or two (the update said they had trouble with the ordering of the new mobo). I mean come on, the server can only support a limited upload size (it was 9 mb IIRC)

I highly doubt that this website will be better than BMS, sorry. Have fun at your new website with 6 simfiles over BMS's gajillion simfiles (yes i said gajillion)!

The website is just getting started. It's in its first week. Don't expect much at first, but soon, it will upgrade to a new server and have all kinds of neat stuff, like downloadable stepmania themes, noteskins, announcers, etc. There are more members signing on as we speak.

I did not create the website; someone else did. I just happened to discover the link to it from the Internet. Let's not argue about this anymore. You have your opinions and I have mine. Let's just keep it to ourselves and be civilized, OK? If there is going to be comments on it, then make them constructive and not flame it. Don't keep saying it sucks and all. If you don't like it, just provide constructive suggestions on how it can improve without the use of harsh words. I don't want this to be a flame war, so don't flame it anymore and let's just get along.
