Wow you guys have weird arcade experiences. Where I go it's all really little kids or just me and my friends. Occasionally there is a couple other people that play ddr...that happened twice, once here and the other in Atlantic City. I have never seen any girls, besides my friends, that weren't doggy, stupid, preppy, or that were good at ddr, and no hot guys. By the way if you're in Atlantic City go to Ripley's Believe or not, go to the left door in the building and there is an arcade. The machine is AMAZING there, or I was having a really good day. I A'ed Max 300, A'ed Paranoia Max and B'ed Maxx Unlimited, I usually fail these. maybe the arcade pads are just crap. *shrugs*

I really don't see where your getting off by "Arcade boyz are sexy" Well im a guy and most guys I see at arcades are usually fat, pot heads, skinny nerd figaures. Im not saying all arcade boyz are like this, and If you think im gay im not. Just saying I think its cool, If a guy asked you out playing DDR, but lets think bout it for a sec. Most arcade girls are more sexy, cuz they are usually ditzy if they never play games. I love DDR girls. I usually get their phone numbers, im an unique player.

Ne ways, I really don't know what I just talked about lol, If any one can tell me post a reply so I don't look like a total F**kin bundle of sticks and or flying jerkoff.

Not exactly. This thread is meant to specifically discuss the boys that attend arcades. Now, experiences therein certainly overlap the sticky, but the over-arching goal of the thread is different from the sticky. [/pointless correction]

I guess it's up to each person, but I think I'd be exasperated by a ditzy girl a LONG time before I found her sexy. Some of my friends are more teacher-like, and they would find it to be a prime opportunity to "teach" the girl about video games, which is a clever disguise for "zomg wow i'm' takling to a grlz0rz." As an "arcade boy," I can say I'm more likely to strike up a conversation with a girl who may not be that good-looking, but knows what she's talking about (could be anything, even), than I am with a very pretty girl, but dumb as a bag of hammers.

Hmm...I never get approached/talked to by women. And if I do, they're usually like "You're good!" or whatever.

And I shrug them off and play on. It'd be nice if they actually TRY to talk with me besides saying "You're good!" but eh...The arcade I frequent anyway is usually filled with either little kids or girls too young for me.

I dunno about DDR Arcade meeting and ends up in relationships. After playing DDR for about 5 months, and ocassional visits to the MIT Arcade, I think I saw couples who both play DDR. Not sure if they met there. I just go there and practice on my DDR skills and talk to the DDR people. Sometimes talkin about DDR and non-DDR conversations. It's like a DDR Freak hangout. we just chill. Although I don't talk much, I say something whenever I have something to say. I'm kinda half-way shy. oh, i'm an arcade guy by the way. =P

You basically can't develop a relationship through talking about just DDR. There's more to it than that. Although I'm not sure what it is, since I haven't gotten that far yet. I'm sure there's something though. No doubt. Don't get me wrong though, it doesn't mean you cannot find a relationship with another person in the DDR Arcade. A relationship starts with similarities, like DDR!

But it doesn't have to be.

Ok, it's really weird for me. This is how it goes:

I dress, talk, and act like the general black "gangsta" that I am. Therefore, most of the hot girls I see at arcades wouldn't see me (I play ITG) **ing a 10 for my first song as a little warm up. So when I'm done, they instantly flock to me. My little brother tells me that a couple weeks ago, just cause I walked up to the ITG2 machine and put my money in, that a group of fine girls stopped what they were doing to watch. I paid no attention to it. But after I was done with my 2nd game, one girl in particular who was on the gorgeous side, walked up to me as I stopped in front of the fan to get some air and said "Hi". I'm leaning there thinking "Ok, I'm all sweaty and busted and you want to talk to me?", but hey, I wasn't about to complain. So we talked for a while and she went back over to her friends and they huddled and she came back and gave me her number. Now, keep in mind, this girl knew nothing about me, except for the fact that I was black, and played a dance game...at the time...

An hour later, same girl walks in looking for me. She asks if I want to go walk around for an hour or so to kill some time. "Sure". We ended up getting together and being together till this day. It's weird how ITG gets you girls....

hm.. well i guess wut i have 2 say 4 this topic is that arcade boys are ok. but ddr/itg boys, well that's a bit of a different story. I play aiite in ddr/itg. I play heavy and some standard and hard with a bit expert.
I occasionally love attention from guyz, but i really don't want to get picked up by any of them unless we actually got to knoe each other, talk, etc. But having guyz watching meh boosts up my confidence, and even more if i get compliments.

I don't talk to arcade girls because I don't mess with beasts out of their own habitat.

Also, every arcade girl I have ever seen was ugly/had B.O./bad breath/ not attractive. So no, me and other arcade guys alike aren't "shy" we just think ur a nasty b1tch.
