XBox Gamepad -> USB Splicing

Alright, so I hacked and spiced at my beat pad to convert it to USB using this method:

I downloaded all the apptiopate drivers etc, and it worked perfectly with my test XBox controller. The problem I'm having is that my computer won't pick up on any of the buttons from the beat pad. Ill go to Control Panel -> Gaming Options, and it says that the controller is there and working OK, as well as all the lights being lit up on my dance pad once plugged in (theres four at the top that just show that its active) Sooooo I was wondering, wtf do I do to get around this?

Edit: Nvm, again, I had to uninstall all the old drivers and install the new dance pad ones. I really need to stop making topics then finding the answers on my own... sorry mods
