Adapter Problem

When I play stepmania with adapter and my pad the problem i have is when i do up and down at the same time or right and left at the same time it wont read them. Is there any way to correct this problem or do i need to buy a new adapter?

My guess is you have an incompatible adapter incapable of pressing

and

at the same time as well as

and

at the same time.
