What's on your feet while playing DDR?

Vans and Adios are def the number 1 way to go. But anything that has flat bottoms will do jus fine. I personnaly play in Vans. The wider the shoe the better timing you will have but the harder it will be to move real fast like the right up down left up down sections on the max'x's.

i was wearing Vans, but realized they're too bulky to do good on fast songs today i went to the thrift store and found a pair of brown Diadora shoes, which are freakin' AWESOME, but a wee bit too small. hopefully i can find some slightly bigger ones online or somewhere, but until then these will pimp

Puma Romas in brown, white, and a cream color for me...they're pretty narrow and they almost fit the contour of my foot..its like playing barefoot but with a sole on your foot.

I tried to play the other day in my new Nike shox, but they are so springy and light i nearly slipped and just couldnt get the hang of it so went back to bare footed!!

I know a lot of people here like skate shoes for DDR, but honestly they are probably holding you back. A flat, bulky shoe without much flex is useless for DDR if you care about PA. If you have big feet, you can either hit with your heel, your toe, or the middle of your foot in good shoes. In a crappy pair of Vans or whatever, you don't have the advantage of being able to hit with the middle of your foot, since they are perfectly flat. A pair of running shoes are infinitely better since they curve up a bit in the front, allowing you to hit with all 3 parts of your foot effectively.

I wear girl socks I get at this store called Rue 21 for a dollar a pair they are awesome, and at the arcades i wear my world industries or adios.. skate shoes are all i own anyway... hoo ray

i usually wear my flatbottomed Vans, either that or i'll wear my black Circas, but they hurt my feet when i play for a long time (at least 4 hours, tops)
