Makes you wonder how much better another version would have done instead of Ex US. Guess I was wrong, as I figured it wasn't going to be close for DDR.

Now, everybody can see that they won! Too bad, that like most non-DDRers, they typed it as Dance Revolution EXTREME on the front page.

Wow, I don't think anyone on the boards saw this one coming. I know I nearly crapped myself when I saw it.

This is more of a disgrace than anything.

Why are you guys happy DDR won an award on some crappy mainstream only "we tell you what is cool" tv station?

Not to be a wet blanket or anything, but seriously...I wouldnt be that enthused...

If you're against the mainstream/mtv/whatever, then just try to think of it as, "Hey, everyone that isnt on a bemani forum was probably dissappointed and confused when that award was given. Take that American pop culture!" I mean really, the fact that a soundtrack of techno music beat Def Jams, THUG2 and Need For Speed 2 just puts a smile on my face. Plus, I bet at least half of the people that made the songs for those soundtracks were in the audience. laugh.gif

Yea, all those rapper thugs and rock star wannabes who worked on the other game soundtracks were proly like "what the fuck is DDR Extreme!?"

Anyway, it sucks that some people hate MTV for whatever lame reasons that they have but the fact is that this is good publicity for DDR.

Everything gets owned by a "stupid dancing game."

Take that, doggy.

....................holy crap. I did not see that coming. It probably won just because of "Don't Clock Me". I think this is just some kind of "scheme" to get the DDR players who hate MTV to start watching their crappy shows.

How in the heck did it win?

Oh yeah because of The Legend of MAX I'm sure.

Sigh, I guess it's good to see DDR beatout Madden/Def Jam/NFSU2/THUG2 even if it was the worst DDR U.S. console game.

Yay I like to be different because I think it's cool.

It's cool, though there are many better soundtracks than DDR. As for DDR getting recognition other than people doing crazy things with their feet, they do. Weight loss >.< yay....peace
