Why doesn't DDR have an epilepsy warning? I mean, flashy backrounds, loud music, come on!

check the first page of the instruction manuel of the game, on the game itself it says " IMPORTANT! read instruction maneul for importnant saftey and health information" and it goes into details about health condionts wiht video games on the first page of the manuel

In instruction manuels, they ALWAYS mention pictures & other stuff we don't care to read about.....They just warn ya to stay on da mat & don't fall & don't bother people dancing.

As theinsanitytest mentioned, the epilepsy warning is usually in instruction manuals, like this one in an instuction manual for the "NVidia 3D Stereo":
"EPILEPSY WARNING: A small percentage of the population may experience epileptic seizures when viewing certain types of TV images or video games that contain flashing patterns of light." I think all Nintendo DS games have epilepsy warning screens on them before you start the game, though.
