THANK FREAKING GOD.
I was beginning to think the Japan CS releases were on hold until after beatmania USA came out.
Now my theory has been proven false. YES!!!!! Being wrong has never felt so great.
...I wonder if the new redesigned controller is coming out with this, or if it'll be a North American exclusive...?

And i know im mentioning miklotov, but he did IN FACT confrim that Jason Enos said this in some press release, that we are getting new redesigned controllers that supposedly have less-sticky buttons.

When have IIDX games been set back? I've been keeping a pretty close eye on CS releses since 7th Style and I don't remember any of them getting pushed back. |

I think if anything, the releases are just more sporadic than anything (especially since KCEJ had to play catch up and stuff).

Read previous posts. This was in reference to the new controller design.
As far as the 10th CS info, that was in a Konami Newsletter that you have to apply to, as per Remy described elsewhere. No official press release yet.

10th Style is the ultimate.
Wait, November? Oh no! I was gonna buy Extreme 2 and Guitar Hero. Then I have to buy Christmas presents, then the new Beatmania. It was perfect! But now I've got 2 months warning to make room for 10th Style. And I have to make room for 10th Style because I always buy Beatmania games on the first day and 10th Style has my favorite soundtrack out of all 12 styles so far! I've been looking foward to this game since the arcade release! I'm so screwed. I've never had three absolutely-must-buy rhythm games come out this close together. I don't think I've ever even seen two must-have games ship this close.
Yes, I've been alive and breathing during November in the last few years. But the games I bought were like 100% certain, 90% certain, 70% certain. And they weren't all rhythm games. But this year KR Party, UM3, and PIU don't even stand a 1% chance even though they'd normally be 90s. That's just wrong to me. I hope these games don't go out of print too quickly. |

As always, meaning like it hasn't been before? None of the last 3 CS IIDX titles have been delayed.
Also, don't expect any info about the returning songs or hidden features or whatever until about two weeks before release. That's the Konami way.
