|
I just recently talked to a friend who played DDR while on a Cruise ship...I have just one question:
The boat is CONSTANTLY changing balance, right? Wouldnt that screw with your equilibrium? I mean I wouldnt know from experience, but wouldnt it be roughly the same as playing DDR during an earthquake?
Id really love to hear from people whove played DDR at sea while on a boat or ship(Ive never tried this, and probably never will). It sounds like itd mess with your head. _________________

My friend played ddr last year on a ferry boat, when she was going to Euro Disney!! She said it was really hard and threw her off balance and she also fell over a few times!!! But she said it was fun!!! |

I went on a cruise ship, and it was really smooth. I would think that if you play DDR that you will get off balance. |

that would be fun! If you get bored with just ordinary heavy, play with a lot of waves... Next i wanna hear of someone playing in an airplane or train... _________________

Yeah, as someone else said, cruise ships are really huge (usually,) so unless there are really big waves, it won't move around enough to jar you. Actually, the movement helps somewhat if it's coming at the right time, because it helps you shift your weight faster.
Last time I was on a cruise, they had Techno Motion. Ignoring the horridness of most of the songs, it was actually rather fun. The best part was when I was in midjump and the boat lurched, so I landed while it was tilting everything "fowards" (really left, but whatever.) I almost went flying into the machine.
Playing on boats is awesome. Everyone should try it.
Edited because of the censor. -_- |

as long as the flight / trip is smooth and the vehicle isnt accelerating, it wouldnt be too hard. Turbeolenceencee (i cant spell) would throw u off thou. _________________

Id be willing to try airplane DDR. Sounds fun, especially when turbulence is involved. _________________

I played DDRMAX2 on a cruise I just recently went on. It wasn't too bad. I could still do all the regular songs I could do while still on land. But, later that night we hit rough water. _________________

One of the cruise ships I was on had a DDR 5th Mix, the big thing is once you're on the ship, you can't really feel any motion the waves are making unless they're really really huge. I played on the machine just fine. A smaller ship or boat would be hell to try and DDR on though. _________________

If I played ddr on a boat I would play In the Navy by Captain Jack and perhaps Boom Boom Dollar. |

Then you would float away with no way to get back. You weigh nothing in space. _________________
