Alright here's the deal:

Back in the day 2001-2003 you couldn't tear me off the Arrow Smash machine. Somewhere along the line, as was the case with many here in the community, I stopped playing. This happened mostly because the scene died down and I was very into the freestyle aspect of the game, which loses a lot of its' fun with no audience. Also the lack of new arcade mixes didn't help.

Anyway, since I stopped playing and got a job in the pastry department of a busy hotel, I've gained back some weight. (It should be noted that I lost about 90 pounds when I started playing DDR) I consider DDR to be the healthiest thing to ever happen to me.

Why all the backstory?

I'm actually starting to play again. The fact that it's fun excersize is very motivating right now. I'm making this thread in hopes that there are others here who have taken a hiatus and want to get back into the swing of things. Feel free to share your stories here.
