Pick your pithy response:
1: Like US Extreme, Dance Praise ships with Dance Play on permanently.
2: Sadly, she got a zero score because she hovers over the arrows.
3: She then got sloshed because her Gatorade turned into wine.
OK, OK. But seriously - looking at the game itself...it looks like a reskinned Stepmania. Reading the press release yields a couple new features (at least to me, I haven't really kept up with Stepmania development) - like hitting 'smoke bombs' to cloud the screen, or 'shadow dance' where player two has to do what player one just did, in real time. Realtime difficulty adjustment seems a bit odd, but worth a shot, I suppose.
I don't think I'll buy it because the music doesn't appeal to me, but it could show DDR a few new tricks down the road. Of course, there's probably a much better chance that it could be another MC Groovz Dance Craze...

As a christian, I say take them down!
Honestly, konami should take them for every penny they have, and if it is in fact re-skinned Stepmania, Chris danford or whatever should take them down as well.

Why Chris Danford? Stepmania is an open-source program. If the DP folks don't use any copyrighted artwork or sounds, I don't really see how the Stepmania people can sue them.
As well, I don't really see how this is offensive to the Christian faith - is dancing around to Christian Rock really all that bad? I probably won't buy it because I don't care for the music, but I can't see it being sacrilegious...

Arnt there some rights that only he can have? Didnt they have to sign a contract with roxor to have full rights of SM?
Anyway, how is it sacreligious? It isnt, its not saying "OMG GOD HAD SEX WITH MY SOUL". Its just stupid.
In all honesty, they dont need to make Dance Dance Ressurection.
Im saying take them down because Konami needs to protect their rights. Same thing for ITG (And i LOVE LOVE LOVE ITG).

| I'm thinking Konami is going to take the same route as Nintendo with those Wisdom Tree games. Taking Roxor to the cleaners is one thing, but a religious group is a whole other PR nightmare. |

As a Christian, I encourage Konami to get 5 bucks out of suing these people (they're probably not very rich anwyas).
Then again, I'd probably buy it if it had Relient K or any music from the labels Tooth and Nail or Solid State, but only because of the music.... I'm not THAT much of a Jesus freak...
