PIU US Finals announced in Charlotte, NC

So, do yall think that the turnout of people will be bigger at NC than New Orleans and Dallas? Better freestylers/steppers? I'm excited about freestyling, but I have to make some new stuff for my Don't Bother Me freestyle, it seems that Smidget had some of the same ideas.

Yes, we expect the turnout will be much larger. We've had what many consider among the best players at the past tourneys, but we expect more of these at Nationals. When there's some mad cash and a free trip to Korea to compete in the World Championships at the awesome World Pump Festival there, who knows what unknown players might surface/come out of retirement/etc.!!

HAHA actually, you remind me of me. I've never participated in any tournaments, and I quit PIU about 3 months ago. But when I saw nationals, with a freestyle division, and a huge cash prize, I figured it might be worth coming out. Is there any new news as to where the NC tourney will be held?

There are probably mroe questions on this site than on any of the Pump-dedicated sites, lol.

We will be launching the site for the PIU Championship Series (PCS) very soon which will have all the information you need on it: Location,Rules,Times,Prizes, etc.

As some of you may know, the late release of information has been the case for the past 2 events as well due to the PCS starting so quickly this year. Next year will not be this way as it is already being planned.

Well, as of now, i'm iffy about this whole tournament. I mean, if it really is a NATIONALS tournament, it would be a big thing, so you would think that they would have this whole thing planned out a little farther out in advance. I, stupidly, already bought my ticket out to Charlotte, assuming that the planning of this "national" tournament would be finalized by now. Obviously, this isn't as organized as it would be hoped to be. I wish they would hurry up and make a final decision.

Oh master god Cutriss, your almighty brain power is correct. I should post that the PIU finals will be held at the Jillian's in Concord Mills in this thread. I mean, soooo many people look at it lately. Why would I want to make a whole new thread about it, so everyone could see when they go to the page? I just don't know. Well everyone, there you have it. I spoke to the Jillian's event manager at Concord Mills and she says the tournament will be held there. That's my two thousand cents, thankyou.

More than likely people who are interested in the tournament will be keeping an eye out for news in the headline thread devoted to it than in other random threads on the Other Bemani forum.

Also, Cutriss said it'd be headlined as soon as it was confirmed by Arturo, so we would have locked it and made a new (headlined) thread about it anyway. In the meantime, it's unconfirmed by Arturo so he's probably waiting for it to be rock solid, so discussion about the location can be kept to this thread until we have confirmation.
