ps2/pad compatibility

well to start off, i have a nightmoves wireless dancepad from pelecan. i love this pad, and i feel that it is one of the best soft pads, it has lasted almost a year with no malfunction. But recently, it stopped working. I tried it on my friends ps2, it worked. Not to long ago, I purchased 3 of the same type/brand of my current pad, brining the count up to 4. I tried all of the new ones on my ps2 no avail. It seems taht the pads are working but the sensors wont communicate with my ps2 only. Im going to test out the new ones at a friends house. Is there any way i can fix my ps2 or sensors? or would i have to shell out some more $$ for a new ps2???
