Have you ever noticed if your knees hurt if you play too much? Mine hurt like hell because I bike and play ddr almost all day, so it kills my knees.

My knees aren't the one's that hurt after playing. My feet hurt more than my knees do. But, I guess biking and then playing DDR could be killer on your knees.

Well, if you're doing knee drops then that could be your reason E13.gif

Now, if you're playing regularly then you might have arthritis already... l laugh.gif jk.. dunno, i have had that before though. I think it was i played too many days in a row.

Odd, my knees never hurt when I play DDR. My ankles, on the other hand, well...I feel that for awhile, but I keep playing regardless of pain or not.

With meit's just like a quick sharp pain and then it's gone.

My knees would hurt all the time back then while playing, but only because I kept doing kneedrops. One time, I slipped and fell so hard on my knees that I thought I tore cartilidge. Now whenever I get on my knees there'll be a super sharp pain so I stopped doing that type of stuff.

Doesn't usually happen while I'm playing, but later when I'm walking or something I get a really sharp pain in my knee. It goes away after a few minutes though so nothing to worry about.

No, you're not the only one. I usually ride 20-40 miles a day, four to five days per week, and if I play DDR on the same day, my knees will hurt the next day to the point where I have trouble walking. DDR is very high impact, so your knees take a beating when you play.

I play for at least an hour a day on heavy and the only problems I've had with my knees were when I first started. Nothing in the past 4-5 months though.

Maybe I'm just lucky.

OK, so maybe I'm not the only one laugh.gif . I just didn't know if I had bad knees or anything. Well, if you want to you can go to a chiropractor for problems with your...extremities. It helped me a bit, than again I've only been going for a few weeks so I can't really tell if it will help anymore.

It's the biking that is killing your knees. I have a bum knee and can't even ride 60 miles before it starts to hurt. I can play DDR till the wee hours on a metal pad and never have an issue. When you bike, you put a lot of power throught the knee and it irritates the joint. I would advise using lower gears and pedaling faster (that's what I do now and it works much better)

My knees hurt just after walking, so I've learned to put up with it while playing DDR.

I do notice that my knees hurt after I play stuff like Pandemonium on Hard and Hardcore of the North on Expert (Can't beat either yet but gettin' there), but I'll try putting it in lower gears, thanks.
