DDR Solo bass mix, old school XD. (Get that thing upgraded to a 2000 or Solo4).
Oh, and IIRC, the deal dropped with CeC and Andamiro, due to the test locations failing (WTF, Prex3 instead of Exceed2?)
I have only seen costumes while DDR at a couple of lock-ins, its really rare.

Lock-Ins? Where at?
Oh, and I just remembered, I've played DDR in a giant sombrarow (bad spelling) and a huge poncho I got from Mexico.  It was a wee bit difficult, nothing too bad though.

For an anime convention, I cosplayed as Yuni from 4th Mix, and coincidentally, we went to go play DDR right after that.
But usually when I go play DDR I wear absolutely nothing. |

*listening* Wait, what's that sound? Why, I think it's a mob of 11-14 year old male children freaking out in hormonal happiness over that prospect!  I suppose that would help improve your speed (less weight and no clothing constriction, as might be evidenced by my baggy shorts), although both sexes might have to worry about certain...things... bouncing around and the like. I think there'd be a lot more sweat on the pad, too, due to the lack of clothing to absorb the sweat. That might make for a dangerous playing environment.... although you would probably draw a sizeable crowd each time.
As for my costume, in the warmer months, I wear a T-shirt (usually has "Virginia Tech" or the like on it, unless it's my ITG shirt) and a generic pair of shorts. In winter, I trade the T-shirt for sweatshirts (which still have "VT" on them, usually in appropriate colors) and also wear either my VT beanie or my "+1 Hat." Therefore, I'm usually dressed as "an average person."

I haven't found a Jo-Ann's Fabrics that carries enough fabric. They always only have about 2 yards. Darn them and their non-stocking issues...

I go to a lot of anime cons so I play quite a bit of ddr in cosplay. it's really funny when people watch me play in a full Temari *Naruto* outfit (and yes the fan is on my back) and I beat someone. They gave the poor guy a hard time, he was really nice.

Last year I dressed up as a pirate for Halloween and played a few games of DDR (including Captain Jack, ha ). I kept tripping over my boot tops and it felt weird to play in a skirt. Does that count?
