when did YOU start playing ddr? (and how long)

i started about a year ago when i was 11, and im about to turn 12... (1 week.. YAY) and i can a about any song on heavy (except ten footers) and i just get crowds because im smaller and can can do what a lot of teenagers can as good or better... but anyways, anyone else start when they were that young?

ive been playing for 3 years 3 months and 3 days (april 27th 2003) i can AA pretty much everything 9 and below just a few i cant do but i can pass all but the "11" footers however where i go to i have all the records for the nonstop courses i hate oni mode i cant do 1x like i used to be able to

i started last Christmas...when i was 12 and i still am 12...i can do most 8 footers

....and i remember a thread i posted in (can't seem to find it though) that said "How much of your life have you been playing DDR?" and my answer was somewhere around 4%.... we all did the mathmatical calculations.

I've been playing for about 3 weeks and I just cleared my first cata last night.

I can A every song on Standard except Legend Of Max Standard which is a pain in the buttocks because I'm so close to clearing it.

Other than that I can A all of the easy Heavy's (6-8 footers)
