DDR is nearly the only thing i do and it seems to be the only thing that keeps me sane and happy. It's not only an addicting hobby for me, it's like another world and life for me. If i didn't have DDR i'd go crazy and be bored outta my mind. nerd.gif

Yeah. Same goes for me. The only other things that I do are biking, and playing the same game on the computer. I never get to hang out with friends. disturb.gif

Yeah, it can get to me sometimes. Like when peoples only way to make fun of me is to laugh at how much i play. I get it alot too. But I just keep going. I'm not going to give up on DDR so easily, because I have motivation E13.gif

It's not the only thing I do, but it's the only thing I ever do in public. If I didn't play DDR, I wouldn't have a reason to leave my computer/TV.

Heh, no worries. thumb.gif That sounds like most of the conversations I have, except I also insert things including, but not limited to, StarCraft, WarCraft, Kingdom of Loathing, anime/manga, VG Cats, computer jargon, and the stupidity of the general public.

I feel like I want to play DDR, but when I go play DDR on the weekend and while I'm playing I do think I'm going a bit too far.

If it feels like you do nothing else, then you probably don't do anything else.

But hey, if it's lost its fun, you ought to quit it and get some sun or something. The vitamin D'll do ya good.

Yeah, I go through differing stages of how often I play DDR. Right now Im in the middle of a full blown DDR binge. Im looking for machines every single day I go out. If I cant, Ill blow like 4 hours a day on my Stepmania builds. Im hoping to hit up one of my local Nickel Nickel Arcades soon and just play the ever loving life out of myself.

Other times I wont touch my pad or a machine for weeks at a time.

I definitely have a strong addiction to ddr, but it definitely doesn't feel like it's the only thing I do. I'll go to the movies with my friends, regardless of how much I don't want to see the movie, just so I can play in the arcades afterwards. When I was at Islands of Adventure a few days ago with my family, all the games of ddr I played had them frustrated. On one certain occasion, they were getting so impatient that they decided to leave me in the arcade while they went away. Islands of Adventure is a fun place, but those crowds and tourists in the arcades... drool.gif

I have my music to keep me busy. Some of my buddies and I play in this little thing called a band. Jamming with them gives a rush that no amount of ddr games played can provide.
