Hi everyone, I was wondering if there is any ddr tv pads (the ones that just hook up to the tv) that you can hook up to your computer or something to be able to add more songs?

Although I've never owned one, I can tell you beyond any shadow of a doubt that it is impossible. Inside of the thing is going to be a bunch of circuitry that you could never be able to interface to a computer. If you're going to do something like that, you'd be better off buying a nice video card for your PC with composite video output, downloading stepmania, and buying a cheap pad with xbox support, so you could make a USB crossover cable. (at least that's what I did)

noise_tank24 is completely right. There's no DDR TV pad that has anything like that. Quite simply, the hardware that is inside one of those DDR TV pads is an 8-bit, Nintendo NES system, the same one that ran games like the original Super Mario games. At this point in time, I don't think there's any way you could get Stepmania into one of those pads. As I've said several times before, all the hardware is stuffed into the pad's control box. Basically, you'd have to take what's in your computer right now, and somehow put it all in that little 4-inch box. If there were a version of Stepmania that ran on PDAs or cell phones, then maybe a Stepmania TV pad would be a possibility. But the way things are now, it's pretty much impossible. Keep in mind, too, that if such a thing existed, it'd most likely be made in some anonymous 3rd-world factory and would probably die in a matter of weeks or days.
