Cool off...

After you play DDR, how ever long that may be, and you're tired, hot, and sweaty, how do you cool off?

I switch off from sticking my face in front of the fan to sticking my whole into the freezer.

Well,after I play like $10 worth of DDR I just go to Quiznos that's right next to the arcade(literally) and get a bottle of Gatorade and then I play more DDR until I spend the rest of my money.

When I play at my house, I go into my mom's room with the air conditioner on full blast and stand in front of it. I also lift my shirt up in front of it

When I'm at the arcade, there not much I can do to cool down, except for get a drink.

I pour ice cold water on my head in between ddr games sometimes.....the only problem is that when i come back sometimes i drip a little water on the pad and then i slip......

After I'm done playing (at the arcade since I dont own it yet), I'm definately dripping wet with sweat. I spend usually around $12 when I go to the arcade on DDR, and about $3 on drinks. Sprite is my drink of choice, and definately makes a world of difference. As for cooling down, I just have to sit for a few minutes. Of course, what sucks about that is that when I walk throught the mall to wait for my ride back home or something, I'm sopping wet and a lot of people stare.

But I'll live.

well when i play at home i just get a drink and sit on my couch and get it all sweaty and when im at the arcade there isnt anything i really can do beucase its hot in there and its hot outside too so it sucks at the arcade somtimes

I just get a damp towel and wrap it around my neck at home......at the arcade i get ice cream

At home, I play till I'm about to pass out.

At the arcade, I play a game, rest for a game, and play another game, usually. I tend to hit the arcades when the token lines are up. When I'm there alone, with no token lines, I just play on and off, giving Soul Calibur and Time Crisis 2 equal amounts of love.

Also when I'm worn out from DDR,I play both Maxinum Tune and Initial D cause the races are so long and it gives me enough time to relax and then I go back to DDR.

I just sit on the Hydro Thunder game nobody ever uses that's near the DDR machine and wait for my next turn. A lot of the games with seats function solely as a place to sit while waiting for DDR, actually.

I grab a chair and sit for my turns while im waiting. After my playing session is done, im probably extremely wet. In this case I go home and take a shower... mmm cold showers always do the trick.

After I finish playing I usually just get a Mtn Dew or Propel and just walk around to slowly cool down. Then when I'm almost completely down I go on a jog. It helps me with my running.

I just bought the Red Octane Ignition pad yesterday, so I play at home now, and I have it placed directly under a cieling fan. If the fan isn't enough, misting myself with water and standing under the fan works wonders. Bwahaha...
