Well, Pandemonium is much harder then both. Can you pass every 12 yet? _________________

I have passed every 12 on ITG1.
I'm still nowhere close to Pand Ex.
My best on Pand Ex is about 55%. I have been playing DDR for two years and ITG for the last two months. I have no idea how one prepares for passing that thing.
(btw, did anyone ever notice how Pand Ex rhymes with Spandex? Coincidence? I think not.)

not only is Pandemonium much harder than PSMO and LOM, but its also much longer. If your failing because your getting tired and cant go at your full then you should practice other 12 footers. _________________

I passed pandemonium EX the first time i played it(crappy score...67 if i remember correctly) and it was my second day playing ITG... my skill level at that point was being able to A max300 and LOM on shuffle no bar...and B PSMO shuffle with the bar.. and play sets of said songs on shuffle without a break....and pandemonium still damn near killed me.... after playing ITG for 2 or 3 more weeks now though i can comfortably pass it and A it....so just keep building stamina until you can do it... if you can't get through stuff like HOTN and Delerium no bar... then pandemonium is not going to be passable even with the bar |

Bullshit. I can't pass either of those songs no bar and I passed pandemonium. hell I was among the first 10 people to do it, so it's definitely possible even if you can't pass HCOTN or Delirium no bar. |

heehee... Hardcore of the North and Delirium are the two 12s I can't pass. XD I've gotten a lot closer to HotN than Delirium though. The long 1/8th / 1/16th runs in Delirium/Pandemonium are insane. I can barely even pass Pandemonium hard because of the 1/8th runs in the middle.
So anyway, to work on Pandemonium, practice with Delirium and Tell. They're both similar speeds to Pandemonium (in terms of step rate... Pandemonium is twice the BPM of Delirium, a little over twice Tell), and they have similar skills. Tell: Fast jumping. Delirium: Long 1/16th runs. _________________

Delirium is the 2nd easiest 12 (after Vertex). Stop thinking about Pandex until you can A it =-P

No. You should continue playing Pandemonium every single day for every song you do. Hey you may not be get very far, but at least you'll build up your endurance enough to do it at some point. And besides, other songs that were hard will seem a lot easier...well except for Euphoria. That'll still be pretty difficult. _________________

Wtf. I remember my friend put the Summer steps to Hybird as an edit, as they're the same speed. He can pass Pandy Ex, but he can't do "Summer". _________________

LOL!! Maybe I should make an edit for Vertex with Vertex^2 steps.
But yeah, Pandemonium is practically the hardest song. Do PSM Oni and LoM have step-jumps? Do PSM Oni and LoM have around 850 steps?
My suggestion: Pass every other 12 chart in ITG first (including HotN), then do Pandemonium. Also get some foot padding cuz your feet are gonna bleed so hard. _________________

I can't believe nobody has said to practice pandy hard a lot first. I think this is the most similar stepchart, and will prepare you the best for the step style, if not also the stamina. Get good enough to only break combo a few times in Pandy hard. Then practice pandy ex until you can get the stamina to pass it. You can raise stamina in non-ddr ways too, like running. _________________

Pandy is pretty much straightforward it is just absolutly draining. You have to have foot speed and a great amount of stamina to be able to pass it. Like ninjafetus said though, get a start on it by practicing it on hard before you do expert. _________________

For me, Delirium is far harder than any of the other 12s. What is easy about this song for most people? What am I doing wrong that makes the song kick my buttocks when most people find it easy? _________________

Where do you usually fail Delirium?

Where do you usually fail Delirium? | Um, the run, once it starts getting actually difficult. I can do quite well on most of the beginning but about... hm... 12 measures into that end run I start to lose it. I can't keep up that sort of speed for long, so I can do the broken runs towards the beginning, but the end run just kills me. _________________

What speed do you play it on? I should have asked this earlier
Try 3x if you're not already. The notes scroll by very fast and 2.5x is a bit tough to read.
Other than that, you just have to hold on to the bar and flail you legs when you start getting tired. Your legs should feel like spaghetti afterwards if you did it right.

Your legs should feel like spaghetti afterwards if you did it right. | Remember, this is me we're talking about. I play it on 1.5x. 1x is too close together for the run, but 2x starts to get kind of fast to read. And anyway, I can read it just fine. I can FC it in Stepmania no problem, 1.5x.
My main problem is that I can't move my legs around fast enough. I can keep stepping at that speed fairly easily, but I get misses because my leg hasn't moved far enough to hit the next arrow, so I end up stepping on the middle or the corner of the previous arrow instead, totally accidentally.
And if I'm supposed to be flailing at the pad and completely wearing out my legs, while I can do VerTex and Euphoria without overmuch effort, how does that make Delirium an easy 12? _________________
