What's on your feet while playing DDR?

On a soft pad I play with socks as opposed to playing barefoot because I feel a lot quicker, like I'm "gliding" on the pad. At the arcades, I play with whatever I happen to be wearing, which is almost always my pair of old, beat up Vans. Yes, the shoes add some weight, but I'll always feel assured that I won't bust up my feet. I just always make sure to lace them up real tight. Wouldn't want to trip and fall on my face while playing exotic ethnic, heavy.

when im playing at home barefoot is the way to go i just got an ignition dance mat and its great. in the arcade i always play with my old shell top adidas seems to work for me

i usually play in a pair of newballance designed for basketrball. i dont tie them but they stay on

Barefoot. All the time. I get a lot of callouses, but eh, it works. I don't have a pair of tennis shoes, I only have heels. ;-;

at home, socks because my barefeet stick to my crappy mat

but at the arcade definitly in Nike's or just any shoe that isnt loose.

Converse Allstars. The only shoe that works with my kinda feet. Any other shoe literally DESTROYS my feet cuz I'm a bracket raper (minimalist).
