I consider DDR a big part of my life. It something I can be proud of, no matter who comments on it. Theres also the fact that I have nothing else to do really. But like I said, It is something that I'm am good at and I really want to continue to get better

O gosh... "obsession" to ddr? That would be an understatement for myself. There, literally, seems like there is nothing else other than DDR in life. The second i see a machine, i play till i'm tired and spent about 10-20 dollars, i look up machine locations and drive pretty far out of my way to just play on a machine, in my spare time i play DDR and ITG on the controller to help my site-reading skills... and i'm only scratching the surface. DDR is a huge part of my life. I wake up, have a cup of coffee, play an hour or two then shower and get on with my day. I feel in love with the game from the very beginning; from stumbling on beginner to AAing everything on my home mixes, losing 35 lbs, becoming a moderator on a DDR health forum, and everything in between. I never thought a video game could change me so much, but it has, for the better. biggrin.gif

ddr is a bif part of my life, its an everyday thing like breathing. whenever i see a machine in an arcade or someone is playing at home i cant help but play. i play for the exercise, and to become better. there is always room for improvement. i promote the game like i owned it. i would like to complete all the games, it would be an accomplishment i would be proud of. also being a moderator on this site would be great. this game is great it brings people together of all ages and races on one common ground.

I consider DDR to be my sport. I go to the playing field (machine) several times a week and i practice at home all the time. i wouldnt consider myself obsessed though. i consider myself passionate.

DDR started off as a hobby for me, then turned competitive, but is more of a social thing now.

I've made a lot of friends from different age groups, backgrounds, and locations from playing the game.

Everyone I've befriended recently has been more into ITG now, and I'm still trying to figure out if I want to be competitive in that. I have some decent reasons for and against it.

I'm not that involved, I do other things.

I play an hour or two at home every day if possible on a cheap Konami soft pad since my Ignitions crapped out. I might want an Afterburner or something though.

I go to the arcade usually once a week, sometimes more or less. Now, I go on these DDR forums in my spare time until I get bored of them.

I do play heavy 8-9, try some 10s, and I just bought ITG. Go me.

Then i slowly dropped it like a fad and then picked it back up cuz i realized i did really like it and now i am a normal kid who plays DDR, doesn't live it.

Well DDR is quite fun and I'd say I'm pretty good at it, but it doesn't control my life. I would be bummed if I didn't get to play it. But I have other things to do than that. I play it for the fun and the fact it burns a lot of calories. I can't stand those DDR kids that dedicate their lives to it and hold little comps and won't let others play 'cause they feel like they are the high and almighty DDR god. Yup. E15.gif

I play alot, but just for fun on weekends. Also, I play at home. And have dreams about it. And get pi$$ed off when I go a week without it. And..... HELP ME! I CAN'T BE WITHOUT YOU DDR! I LOVE YOU! GIVE ME A KISS, YOU SEXY PIECE OF MACHINERY! OOOO, YEAH!

PS. laugh.gif jk laugh.gif

If you looked "nerd" up in the dictionary, something like this would show up. I'm seriously not that addicted to it. I just do it on weekends.

I used to go to about 50+ DDR locations as well as going to 10+ In The Groove locations last year. But, because of work, projects, family/friends & my g/f, I don't have a lot of time to play a lot of that stuff. Is that weird or what? Please reply, over! Thanks!...

I wouldn't really say that I'm obbsessed with DDR, I play it whenever I get the chance, I mostley play at home though, when I'm not tired or feeling sick. I play it if there id nothing else to do. But I'm good at it. I used to play an hour a day for three months, I was completly obbsessed with it when I first started getting into it.

well i would not say my life revolves around DDR but if i am at the theatre i play a couple games.i usually play it a couple hours a week but if i see some one any good i will play longer. a reason i don't play all that much is most the people around my area play light or standard but i play heavy so yea around here it is hard to find a challenge. And i don't just think of DDR but i can get into long conversations about DDR.
