I was just going to post to it to thank the good people for their advices. And someone mentioned leaching, and it gets locked.

It's like the moderators here can't have an orgasm without locking a post.

Anyway, I would never leach. I normally keep torrent running for about 2.5x times my dl. I don't know how to 'seed' but I keep the torrents open well beyond me getting what I need.

The reason they locked it is because DDRFreak frowns upon discussion of unliscensed distribution of DDR music. Its in the FAQ. Links to any sort MP3 content are forbidden. There is a sticky stating the official policy and then debating, at great length, the legalities.

Ironic, because you had two more appropriate choices for your response which will probably result in a lock of this thread:

1) PM the mod who locked the thread. Most of them are pretty reasonable. If they were all a bunch of "Nazi's", I doubt this forum would be very successful because everyone would be afraid to post here.

2) Site Feedback forum if you have a complaint about over-sensitive mods in general.

That's great you aren't a leecher. Keep your torrents open for a long time and people will thank you. But make sure you're only talking about the legal ones around here
