Here's a little experiment. Play Xuxa on Easy and add the "Stream" mod.

(Go now.)

Now, answer honestly, did you mess up on the "slow" (duck and chicken) parts? Maybe it's just me, but does the timing get a "bit" off on that part?

On another note, for those people who have great scores on Hard and Expert songs but problems getting decent ones on Easy and Mediums ones, try adding the "Stream" mod. I'm sure this is nothing new to many of you, but IMO, it makes the songs easier to keep the beat, plus getting that one "Way Off!" won't mean as much in your scoring total. You don't get Disqualified from Ranking for using it, most likely cause it makes the songs harder.

Most people who are good on Expert already add in taps to easier songs. And harder songs too.

I figured as much, but did you try the Xuxa experiment? It's strange.

Uh, the stream mod adds 8th notes. Add taps means adding arrows where there were none before, IIRC.

Right, it adds note in between the quarters. But when the music slows down for the "pauses" in the song, everything gets jerky and those 8th notes seem to get caught in the speed up and slow down of the music.

Eck, yeah that stream easily gets in the way, especially right before the quack.

Did the experiment and it was pretty easy to do the song... didn't find any problems with it...

....o wait riiight.gif ... ::points to ddrfreak name::

Maybe that could be why it's so easy... lol
