Hey everyone...

Though I've been a big fan of DDR for a long time, there is one music game I have to honestly say I'm better at. That being Samba De Amigo... To be honest, I don't know why, but this game grew on me from years ago and still to this day to I play it. Anyone else share such a love for this game? How about Ver. 2000, huh? I've got the official maracas, and all the downloaded games and such. I'm pretty good at Very Hard, I always get a 98-100% area when I play.

Staying a bit on topic here, I was wondering anyone knew where I could find an arcade version of the game. I always dreamed of playing the game in an arcade, so, if anyone would happen to know that'd be awesome.

If you are talking about the game with the maracas, where you shake to circles formed in a pentagon like shape on the screen. A monkey wearing a sombrero? Most importantly the arcade game made by Sega.

Yeah, we have one near Boston. Not many people play it though.
It sure looks interesting, and I tried once or twice. But didn't really get into it.

WOW. I had no idea this had an arcade version. Well, I probably knew in the back of my mind, but never really thought about it. I LOVE this game. I still play it all the time. In fact, Samba de Amigo and Sonic are the two reasons I have not yet sold my DreamCast. They had a version of Samba de Amigo for the EyeToy on PS2 for a game called Sega Superstars. You use your hands instead of maracas, and its not as fun, but still awesome. I am now compelled to go play Samba de Amigo.

"Presented by...SEGA...ehehehe...."
