Hey, instead of starting a new thread, I figured I'd ask this here. Can someone link me to or post a picture of a crystal clear IIDX RED machine? I've been searching the net for like an hour but I just can't find one, only like 2 crappy looking pics. Thanks in advance :-)

Yes.

XD

Now I need to hope I ever find one of these. Kinda like I hoped to find a RED. And never did.

Okay, so I was the one who had problems with my append discs in my modded ps2. I got a ps1 and I'm using a dragon hacker mod. Anyway, the first disc loads but the append mix that came with it does the same "wrong disc" thing. The other mixes (3rd, 4th, Gotta) act like they are starting to load but freeze on the loading screen. Any hints would be much appreciated.

TBH, this sounds more like a technical problem. I expect you'd get better results asking on a console modding forum, or the likes. E1.gif

I have a headache. It is THAT insane. Im not quite sure if they where making fun of Dance 86.4, but that video looks like one bad acid trip.

I just got IIDX for my home and I'm wondering what are some of the best styles. Right now I have 9th, and probably going to get 8th..

Also, does anyone know where I can look at the song lists to all the styles?

http://www.vjarmy.com/iidx has the songlists for the CS games. Fair warning I think you have to register to view the songlists (unless if a unregistered (on VJARMY) clicks on my profile to see).

6th is pretty good. There is a lot of songs that have crossed over into DDR (plus B4U from DDR), plus you can play the first 2 songs in the Denjin-J/Jaeger Trilogy (Theme of Denjin J and The Strong Jaeger). I find 7th style's another to be pretty easy on single. I believe I pulled of an A on an easier one. 9th style (to me) has a "Are you freaking kidding me?!" feeling to it once you get out of L7, especially 80's Capsule [a] and some of the CS songs (5pm Eternal is pretty hard on 7key and their anothers are lightyears away from me to pass). But seeing that you have 9th, that's really irrelevant. I really can't vouch for 3rd-5th style. Besides, you can hardly find them nowadays.

I am having a different problem with my append Club Mix. I upgraded my modchip firmware to the latest version. It starts to load, but the Anti-Mod message pops up. I have a Matrix Infinity in a PSTWO (yes, anti-mod disabling works for beatmania Best Hits and BM 6th + Core.) I cannot test it any further because I don't have any other Appends.

MDR loves Denjin J trilogy

I'm just now getting good enough to think about passing flashing 7's, so I'm taking a mini poll:
What are the easiest flashing 7's, or the best ones to practice first?
I can aallllmost pass Xenon on easy, and haven't tried too many of the others.

Also, Can someone confirm wether or not there's an "easy way" to unlock everything on 8th style?

Haha havent posted at ddrfreak for ages

Easiest flashing 7s, huh? I only have 7th and 9th so sorry if this doesnt help you but whatever.

Tommorow perfume (1st flashing pass for me!)
Karma (Looks tough but its not)
Love (heart) shine
Linus
DXY!
V (REALLY ITS NOT SO BAD)
Murmur twins
Nemesis
Summer vacation
Quasar (HAHA easy)
B4U (if you can scratch?)

btw easy will piss you off once you play with it off so i suggest you get a head start and leave it off starting now.

Heh. Don't worry, I actually never use it. I just got the feeling I was close with Xenon, so I tried it on easy.

Anywho, thanks, that's a good start. I only have 5th and 8th (lol)
So that gives me these 4:
DXY!
V (REALLY ITS NOT SO BAD)
Murmur twins
B4U

I've been practicing V too, mainly to get my finger endurance up. I might end up beating that one first.

How about Abstract or Dual Control?

PS: Out of those 4 you'll probably pass Murmur Twins or B4U (if you can scratch) first. V is one of those songs that you either get early or you get late. XD And DXY... it's been a while, but I think it was one of the last 8s I beat on 6th Style.

PPS: If you can read speed at all try Sakura. It's really not that hard.

Danceatron: I started on 5th style too so I can add to the list. Though 5th doesn't have the "flashing 7" rating you can just look on hibroad for 8* songs:

Presto 7K- I passed it once and it's hard as balls. But you'll probably be able to do it.
Absolute- Really easy at the beggining but the middle is pure hell. Again, you'll probably be able to do it.
Era nostal 7K- The ending is really hard, but the rest of the song is a breeze.
Try Insertion A, it's really difficult to time but the notechart isn't that complex, I came pretty close to passing it. Give it a shot.

I DONT HAVE THE STYLES WITH ABSTRACT OR DUAL CONTROL CSTAR =(

Its really different for everyone. DXY was like my 3rd flashing 7 I passed, so it shouldnt matter THAT much until you start talking about the TOUGH flashers. It all depends on your style. For instance, I was able to pass Love (heart) Shine another before Karma L7 (because i had no idea what was going on in that last part and L<3S is way easy for me).

btw lack of FB makes me cry ;_;

Raven_TK: I know what you mean.

It seems like I do better on songs I really like. I was able to pass era(nostall) before I could pass most 6 stars even though it's a 7.

Here's a random question:
With a few exceptions, I seem to do better on HS1 than HS2. When I first started out I refused to us High speed at all, and think it really helped me learn to read at first.
Most good players I've seen play on HS2 or higher all the time. I guess what I'm asking is do all good plaers eventually start playing at HS2 and higher, or is it just a preference thing?
