All the relatioshisps that i've seen start in the arcade never work out. I'm glad my gf dumped me, because i was getting ready to, just cause she was too competitive. Who wants a relationship with someone who's constantly trying to beat you? |

In #5's case, DDR was a cause of hatred, and according to him, I was half the reason he quit. He said I was getting too competitive. Hm. I believe I was for quite a while, but then less after that.
I wonder if arcade girls like me should date arcade guys. :\ |
It might be best to date someone who doesn't like to be in arcades all the time cause it'll be hard to get that much needed time apart if you're always at the same places all the time. I supposse having all the same friends could work against you also. They'll either stick with you or the other person. |

Odd opinion. I tend to like competition in relationships. Its even more fun when the two people are onpar. As long as it doesnt get carried away, pushing each other to get better isnt really that bad... well... maybe im just stupid :/ _________________

Nah, you gotta a point. I was just speaking from my own experiences. It is good to have somebody push you and encourage you to get better. I use that tactic for skateboarding. If i didn't have friends going, do this, or jump off that, I wouldn't have done any of it. I've just lost a few friends to competition, which is why i don't like a HUGE amount (ya always have it) of it in a relationship |

One time, there are 3 girls who just stayed at the back and watch me dance. When I'm finished playing, these girls, who were in mini skirts and really hot blouses, asked me if I would go out with them... Because I am scared of girls, I denied quickly. But they grabbed my hand and treated me to a movie. My seatmate at the left(the position is girl, me, girl, girl), kissed me in the lips.. I was so scared that I ran outside the moviehouse... I'm scared of women. _________________

my problem is I never know when girls are serious and are goofing around with me
I usualy avoid arcades I"m saving up for a red octane I can't really afford to play at the arcade
oh well
I'm kinda unlucky like this if I did play at arcades I live in vegas so if I went to any of the hotels where like 95% of the DDR machines in this city are they prbly live in a diffrent city
and the other 5% are in kiddy places like peter piper or a skating center
(note I pulled these %'s out of my butt)
also I"m still fat though I've always had a fantasy some kid saying htey'd give me 20 bucks if I could do kick the can on heavy a 7 footer which I can A but that is my best song |

We have girls at our arcade AAAing PSMO, hell.

I would love the competition; and having a relationship with someone who loves the same thing as you, in this case, DDR... would rock. |

I don't know what you mean. Maybe you could elaborate? |

Meh, girls avoid me when I play DDR. Especially once I break out the scary songs like Burning Heat Heavy Doubles (I don't know why this scares so many people ) _________________

everyone who goes by the ddr machine is a pro in Bloomington illinois. I was playing My Summer Love, Then a girl came by and put her token on the machine. then another one did. THen the two girls starting playing. They passed PARANOiA Survivor on heavy. Two teens (13 and 15) came up, put there coins up. they did Sakura, Bag, So deep. No girls watch. Its common to see a 10 foot player. |

Hahaha.... this topic is funny... anyhow to get to a DDR machine I would have to travel 30 miles... and then realize there is no one playing DDR there... there are a few people playing ITG2... thats about it but hardly any girls... any girls that play are just dating someone that does and thats primarily their reason for playing (I guess) except for one of my friends... but now she's dating another friend of mine... she plays less and less... and so does he.. haha
I guess Grand Rapids, MI qualifys as "I don't play anymore" land... however 50 miles away at Putters plenty of people play Guitar Freaks and Drum Mania... DDR just gets ignored... who'd play Extreme Plus? |

Amen to that. Two of my exes just loved the arcade to death. That wouldn't be a problem if I didn't as well. We'd spend so much time playing either DDR or Tekken together we wouldn't have time apart, or even just alone (amongst ourselves). _________________

Well, it's always good if you share common interests outside the arcade, and if it's an obsession for both of you, then perhaps it comes before your relationship? My first date with my current boyfriend was a far, far cry from DDR at the arcade we met at, and it was awesome. |
