Yeah, you'll notice, and If you ask for it, just say "The RedOctance Ignition Dance Pad 3.0, it's orange."
I actually wanted the old DDR arows, but ITG is alright I guess... _________________

Ugh, I hate the new design on the face of the controller. The old design was perfectly acceptable IMO. |

I just bought this pad last night. Got it at best buy for about $90, which is even cheaper than when I bought my 2.0 But anyway, heres my review:
Design - The padding is almost exactly the same as 2.0's padding. Mine seems almost a little thinner, but it feels softer than 2.0's. The arrows are raised just like 2.0's as well, but seem to be a little more "out there". Maybe its because I haven't broken it in yet. But I have been playing for a good 2-3 hours now.
Compatibility - Works flawlessly with StepMania, Works Flawlessly with PS2, and I'm not sure about X-Box because I do not own one. It does not lag when it sends the hits to the computer either. Highly recommended if you need a new pad and want to play on the computer.
Sensitivity - Seems to be pretty sensitive. Nothing like the arcade or a metal mat, but pretty close.
Over All - Seems good so far, it does not miss fire, stick, or anything like that so far. My only suggestion is to make sure you keep the wires nice. With my old 2.0 the wire that came out of the pad started to wear away, thus making the up arrow non responsive.
I'll update this if anything bad happens, which I'm hoping wont be too soon *knocks on wood* _________________

Good luck. I've been returning mine every single month now.
The people at EBGames even recognize me and go, "Pad problems again Ricky?" -_- They're charging me $10 to extend my warranty from now on. =[ _________________

My best buy wouldn't let this pad go on the extended warranty thing. Its alright with me, because I plan on buying a metal pad around Christmas time
But I hope you have better luck with your pad in the future! _________________

XD
That sucks dude, but that warranty is the Extended Acessor Warranty, and you have to pay that if you want it for a year.
I just fork over ten and the old pad and bam, new 3.0 _________________

I play with socks on. None of my pads have ever ripped, they've just become too unresponsive for me in certain areas so I just return them as I don't want to deal with it. _________________

Iâm on my 3rd in past 2 months I was able to return without using my warranty last time, since I reported the problem within 2 weeks. I just got new one past Sunday. Pad is already showing some unexplained miss on down arrow. Always start there then Right arrow goes. I opened zipper halfway around the pad and works better for now. Not sure why though. |

so we got a 2.0 in march and it lasted a couple months i think...i was away at college so basically my fatass brother is the one who messed it up...but anyway they got it taken in and replaced with the warranty...but now this new pad is screwed too. the down arrow is basically dead. anyway i think it's out of warranty...but is there any way for me to get it replaced anyway? go into eb games and be like "heyyyy dudes...i'll give you 10 bucks if you replace this..." ...yeah i don't think so. tell me if there's anything i can do...but at this point i figure i'm better off slashing a hole through the messed up sensor than begging for a replacement |

Manufacturer's Warranty: Contact RedOctane and ask for it. I think it's like six months.
If you didn't purchase the warranty from EBGames, you only have a warranty for 14 days (two weeks). _________________

I believe that you can search for the user "Rychan" and its in her signature.
In addition, I believe she is a contributor with a FAQ on how to do her mod. You should check in the FAQs section to see if it's there too. _________________

Your Ignition3.0 should came with extra connection with USB plug. Just remove (unplug) Xbox connection right below XBox and PS2 connection separates and replace it with USB Connection. Hope this made sense |
