Got to get another pad soon (3 have died). It seems that only 1 arrow breaks on each pad, and a different arrow each time, so by process of elimination, my next arrow woes will be with my left arrow. My most recently deceased pad lasted from january to july |

I have a semi-worn out LevelSix softpad, which still functions well, so long as you don't play anything above a hard 9. I've had it (and played 9s on it) for 9 months now. The only other pad I have is my home-built metal one, and that's not about to die anytime soon (nothing that can't be easily fixed, anyway). _________________

i've got 2 madcatz soft pads and they are really sucking now..somewhat work. they do triple hit sometimes or not hit at all which prevents me from getting my AAs . one is being held together by duct tape because there are so many tears in it. trying to get a metal pad..wont be happening anytime soon |

1 old mad catz dead
2 new mad catz dead
1 Ignition-dying
We are finally trying to save up for 2 metal pads. Right now I can't play a 6 or higher without a pad miss, so we usually screw around and play with our hands and faces. Fun, painful, and something to hold us over until the next trip to the arcade. |

Has anyone seen those Anime: Drugs would be cheaper! bumperstickers? I think some of us could use DDR ones. |

2 official konami pads
1 10.00 wal-mart pad
2 40.00 pelican wireless pads
2 20.00 off brand pads (look like butterfly girls on em)
2 RO metal pads
I've spent a nice chunk of money to play at home. Stepmania rocks though. |

Why have i spend over 1000 on DDR pads? |
u need to use less force on the pads.....anyways i've only worn out 1 soft pad but that was because my dog tore it up but after that i've had the same old wireless pad for the ps2.....works good until u of course have to occasionally change the batteries |

Since I kept the old ones in some remote hope that someone I actually know would take up DDR, this is easy!:
2 absolutely generic, soft, ghetto pads
2 mad catz soft pads(even worse than ghetto)
1 Konami soft pad
1 TX-1000 Metal pad
Above is over the course of about 2 years. The metal pad is not totally dead, but was retired officially last week when the RO Afterburner arrived! It did last a good 8 months, but that is with a totally dead "X" button, severely cracked panels (all), and 3 life-support operations involving heavy splicing and duct tape. Hope the Afterburner fares better. |
