that was good stuff...you know, LoM has some parts that are really easy...just by accident (i used to play piano) i sat down and figured out the jumpy part (you know, after the first scary stream part), it's like 3 or 4 notes...

or you can just play chopin's revolutionary etude op. 12...that's kakumei right there...but damn that is a hard piece

I was looking through my old files and came across a lo-fi recording I made of me playing (not particularly well) Maxx Unlimited on my piano, back when I got my first condenser mic.

I thought some of you might get a kick out of it.

Neat. Can you do murmur twins and/or Piano Concerto No.1 "Scorpion Fire"? Both are from Beatmania IIDX (MT from 8th Style, SF from RED)

That, was sweet, and very impressive. Have you thought at all about re-recording it? As you said, you were off-time slightly at the begining, but i'm sure you could do it again if you wanted to. You should definantly post any others you may have tried. (Had my g/f attempt to do a piano-version of So Deep...didnt work too well. Perhaps you'd have better luck?)

Compiling and playing more DDR songs on the paino - yes, very cool

however the selling and such... yea, may not go over so well due to copyrights and such. Tho it would be something to look into if you got serious about ppr (piano piano revolution anyone?)...okay ya, i'm done. For the record tho i'd buy it...

I can play So Deep. I can't really record my piano too easily now, because it's at my mom's house and my computer's here in my trailer. But I can record my shitty keyboard too if you guys wanna hear some other stuff.

I can play Chopin's Etude No. 12 (Kakumei) but not on my keyboard.

Wow...is it very difficult? the harmony sounds tricky...i was always terrible with the left hand, 'cause for some reason my mind heavily resisted learning bass clef properly.

well, i couldn't the entire thing (i'm a sax player) but it didn't take long to learn that MaxX is in F minor concert. Work it out from there (so no major 3rds or 7ths.) Don't learn it from sheet music if possible. You get a much better connection to the music if you can play it from memory.

EDIT: You might want to check out a few spots. For one, the notes you play for the freeze at the break? That's not the correct interval/note. The rest is mostly fine, except for time. Especially after the break, you keep the time fairly well.

However, (on heavy) you know that section with the crazy jumps, with 8th note runs to a freeze jump? The first two times are correct, the third time you need to change the notes you play. I think it's up a minor 3rd, and the 4th time feels like an exceptionally hip flat 5.

The intro is cut short as well. Other than that, good job.

Wow!!!

I always thought the song sounded so monotonic and bad, but with a real instrument playing it, it soars! Good job! Do more, please.

Chopin's Etude No. 12 is pretty difficult. Notice he said he couldn't play it on the keyboard. I can play the first page or so...but I've never had the ambitions to try and go any further. Besides, all you need to impress a crowd is a little piece of something that hard. Play too much and they're all like...freak!!!!11oneone Kinda like DDR. People think you're cool on standard, but weird if you can do heavy...(around here at least)

Final Fantasy 8. I have no idea why.

So Deep would KICK. buttocks. drool.gif
