1. I heard Tsugaru (Apple Mix), and Sakura on Ronin: Spirit of the Sword.
This is the link to the game: http://newgrounds.com/portal/view/93066
This is a link to the a video made by the author after the creation of the game called "Baka No Bidio" or "The Dumb Video" here, where you hear the original Tsugaru: http://home.socal.rr.com/jamusse/bakanobidio.html

2. I saw Leah Miller from MuchOnDemand play DDR on the Xbox with Shawn Desman. They both sucked at it.

I was randomly watching FoodTV's "Unwrapped" in which Dave & Buster's was featured. There were several inside-the-arcade shots and among them was of some kids playing DDR, and I think the narrator mentioned "dancing games".

"Hey, look! It's DDR-- OMG!"

I don't like the way the press talks about DDR. People may start playing for hopes of losing weight, but the only reason they keep playing is because of the game itself. Hell, why doesn't the news ever say "Kids in School Band get beat lessons from DDR" E15.gif It's sort of like fighting over video games and how it gets more attention than fighting over sports. Weight loss will always be tacked onto DDR. E2.gif

I was watching Xplay the other day. They were doing a montage of some sort. It was prolly two days ago if you saw it. All of a sudden, they show Adam jumping up and down on a PS2 soft pad.

Some episode of Arena on G4 had DDR MAX 2 for PS2. Two teams, 4 people each, 4 rounds.

Only 1 guy was any good at all...and it was a Light VS Light "tournament".

Why isn't there any Heavy/Hard/Expert stuff on TV? That's what we've gotta see! disgust.gif

I miss that show Gameon. One episode featured a tournament that had people that were actually somewhat good. The only girl who showed up played standard. She lost her glasses during one of the songs and fell, which was kind of crap.

I saw Ronald doing stupid stuff on a fake DDR pad (all pink arrows)

in a mcdonalds commercail nothing specail he's just goffing around I think he hits like 3 arrows it's obviously just a fake set no music playing and the screen looks like nothing but yellow on the other machine the other kids were on

kinda of insulting to DDR (yes ronald mcdonald goofing arround on a DDR machine and losing a shoe yes that really makes DDR cool)

Hey guys! Just recently "Pirate Power" (AndrewWestHorton)and a couple of his friends were on TV talking about DDR with the news. Here's a segment about it that was aired in CA just today!

http://upn31.com/goodday/

Just scroll down a little bit and click the "Dance Dance Revolution give-away with Scott Fera".

And, you guessed it, Andrew is the pirate E10.gif

I was watching Nickelodeon and they showed one of those little intros to show the end of the commercials and they showed a mixture of DDR Extreme and Nickelodeon. It had the pink Standard logo at the bottom, but at the top it had the word Oni. Then it had an announcer say good perfect and combo. It was horrific.
