A good start, but I have a feeling those square buttons are going to be a problem once you start getting good. You'll be cutting yourself on the corners a lot. _________________

Dont look very interesting. The guy in the video looks like he's played a lot of DDR or has to piss really bad.
Just do stepmania with the keyboard. Cheaper and thousands of songs....

If I saw this happening in real life, I'd point and laugh with probably all my friends wondering why the hell that was happening? Its a button had game, you shouldn't be kicking your legs all around, right? It looks funny. |

Why? Stepmania has no keysound support, whacky japanese characters, or a need for a special controller. Stepmania is fine for DDR, but Step'n Music probably won't ever be finished, so Stepmania for Pop'n Replacement = no
Anyways, that is one of the easier songs, from the looks of it... I've seen tatsujins of songs like Cyber Rockabilly, and its insane...
I can't wait to start playing popn _________________

Just saying if people like banging on buttons then there is a keyboard. Its cheaper and has thousands of songs. And you can stand up and dance around like a nut too...LOL |

You haven't a clue what you're talking about. You've apparently never played Pop'n so you don't understand the appeal. Please refrain from flaming people on a game that makes DDR look easy at times. _________________

You are correct. I havent plaed it before. I really doubt though its as hard on the body as DDR. I have played drums before when I was in school. Im not putting it down at all. I love games. I just think its kind of funny with the guy dancing and hopping around. JMHO.

You'd be suprised what some Bemani can do to you. I've heard people will play No.13 7key or Another on Beatmania IIDX and not be able to play for days because it's so taxing on your hands... But yeah.
The way you talk about it makes it seem like a flame from a DDR elitist. Honestly, in the long run of music games, other than requiring stamina, DDR is really not that hard. The day I see someone do something on DDR I would view as equivalent to Lisu onehanding One More Lovely Another7 is when I'll call it the hardest music game (and TBH PIU is much harder than DDR). _________________
