Charlene is mah showoff song. And its a pretty good song, but Infection sounds the best!!!
Lately I have been doing VerTex alot on hard. The expert flusters me, but at least its not like pandimonium which is like trying to cut myself with a spoon o.O;;;

I need to add another to my list. After having unlocked it last night, I believe Anubis is one of the absolute best songs I've ever heard; although perhaps a bit much for a 10 on expert. Either way, it's still my new favorite ITG song.

"Turn it On" is ITG's "Let Them Move." Nice background music, then the lady breaks out the song title and arhselrkhwlkjhr*barfs*

Oh, yeah, that's my least favorite. I'm not sure if I really have a favorite; there are a lot I like, but none of the ITG songs have really struck my fancy like "Petit Love." Xuxa's close, though.

No.

I'm beating people here with the ITG2 stuff. :-P (Note: Songs are being selected on my musical preference. Statements about steps are just additional.)

Favorites:
- "Psalm Pilot" and "Reactor" by Jason Creasey. Also, Reactor's Doubles Expert stepchart is probably the most original thing ever. People either adore it or despise it. I showed a friend today how all the turns went and he nearly flipped out when he saw what I was doing.
- "High" by Digital Explosion. I've got a copy of the 2002 Ibiza Remix and OMG!!!
- "Tribal Style" by KaW. I honestly think it's Kyle's best song to date.
- "Fleadh Uncut" by Parker & Stiles. OMFGIRISHHEARTS!
- "D-Code" and "Determinator" by Dust Devil. D-Code's Expert Singles steps are absolutely wonderful.
- "Renaissance" by Smiley. I think it's the best Smiley song to date. Apparently Kyle's either levelled up his music or he's been holding back on us. :-P
- "Cryosleep" by Machinae Supremacy. I really love the power of this song and how the softer sections make for a nice counterpoint.
- "Monolith" by Affinity. This song just grew on me more and more.
- "Robotix" by Kbit. For some reason it stays in my head, and I'm not complaining about that.
- "Amore" by Uniq. I want a long version of that song somehow. And the steps for it, at least on Hard, are wonderful, I think. Unless you're playing them on the Decelerated Survival course. Then it's death in a handbag.

Least Favorites:

- "!" by Onyx. I'm sorry, but I think this song is total and utter crap. I've listened to it repeatedly and I just don't think it's got anything mildly redeeming. It's random havoc, IMO.
- "The Message" by Ni Ni. Too mind-numbing for me.
- "July ~Euromix~". I just can't get into it. There's something about it that just seems to disinterest me. I respect the way it's made and everything, but something just doesn't sit right with me.
- "Habanera" by Boom Boom Room. I think it's mainly because of that infernal beep in the song. Then again, the version I have is a long version....
- "Music Pleeze" by B. Dastardly. The game version is ceratinly better than the long version, which is aggravatingly repetitive. Still, I feel like I hear "There ain't nothin' like hip hop music" WAY too much.
- "Vertex^2" by ZigZag. I've listened and listened, and it just doesn't seem like it's anything that great, to me. :-\

As far as the ITG1 songs go:

Faves:
- Anything by ReflectionTheory. I've got the long versions of their songs, and I just LOVE them
- "Which MC Was That?" - The long version wins because it's got MC Chicken-In-The-Hat (I remember him. He was a fat dude. Wait, was he thin?)
- "The Beginning" by DJ Doo. It just seems to have grown on me.

Leave favorites:
- "Remember December" by Mind Reflection. I feel like I should be bouncing on a pogo stick while on crack when I listen to this.
- "Infection" and "Tension" by Inspector K. I keep on thinking of them as interchangable, and neither one is that enjoyable to me aurally.
- "Boogie Down" by Invurse and "Driving Force Classical" by Digital Explosion. Nice intros.... oh wait, those are the entire songs. There just doesn't seem to be much meat there.

That's about it.....

I really enjoy "!", it's one of my fav ITG songs. It's got a non-standard (not 4-4) time signature, very cool rhythms, and a good progression. It makes me think of cruising along in a city at night, lots of lights. This is coming from the perspective of someone who has to listen to the songs many many times over in the development process.. so something original with style is always welcome!

Glad you like the Reactor DE chart.. we're always trying to come up with new and original ways to challenge the player.

Random trivia - Robotix was originally called XTC

...as I listen more to !, I think some of its stranger steps may still actually follow the music, just music which isn't very easy to hear in low-quality situations, like videos. o_O I always liked the song, but I've been iffy on the steps. I'll need to hear the song better to be sure.

However, other than the beginning of the song, I'm pretty sure it's straight 4/4.

Hrm.

I like, in no particular order...

Anubis
Mouth(The words are sorta... disturbing though.)
Remember December
No 1 Nation has some good parts
PA Theme(Hearing it makes me want to do jerky the-robot'ish moves.)
Disconnected Hyper(Its like the new paranoia set IMO.)
I think Wake up isnt half bad either.
Solina
Delirium(Fun song.)

Dislikes...
Hybrid
Tough Enough
Normal
Not Worth the Paper
Crazy(Its just...stupid. It sounds alot like Video killed the radio star, actually, which wasnt a bad song. The lyrics on this are just crpa though)
I Think I like that sound
Charlene(I like the 'fast' expert steps, but not the song itself.)
Queen of light(Really annoying = / )

Only played the console version though. Havent even played quite a few of them yet.

I was pleasantly surprised to find that I really liked most of the music on ITG. Stilll, there are some favorites:

- Da Roots (Folk Mix): You too can dance like Michael Flatley!

- Hip Hop Jam: What a misleading title! Great Latin sound.

- Mellow: Pure entertainment value -- and that's just the lyrics!

- Utopia: I know it's similar to several others, but it really appeals to me.

As far as least favorites, let me quote my limerick from another thread:

i like some of the new ITG 2 europop songs:

spaceman thumb.gif
baby baby
spacy crazy girl
no princess

some of the songs got me a "WTF? look" from the crowd, "Little Kitty Mine", cool stepchart but it makes me look like an overgrown child playing a kiddie game... which could be true.

i also love how Roxor chose some classical songs and remixed them, "Summer in Belize" is a great example.

one song caught my attention "one false move", doesn't it remind you of level 1-2(underground) from Super Mario Bros?

last but not least, i'm totally digging "monolith" even though i can only manage it at 9 it looks crazy as hell at 2.5x from what the crowd tells me.
