Well I'm feeling rather tired right now. After all, I just finished playing Drop Out Heavy (not the ridiculously easy challenge version, that is if you don't want to AA or AAA it...) 3 times. B'ed it the first two times. Did really well on the jumps the third time, but then went and lost myself in the last part of the song.
But anyhow, I started playing DDR about six months ago. A friend at college got me hooked on it. After 2-3 months, I was trying to pass eight footers (my first was that Japanese rock song full of stream listed under the 'D's). Currently, I pretty much always pass eight footers while nine-footers are variable. The only ten footer (without speed mod, which I personally don't approve of) I've beaten is Sakura. Big surprise, eh?
I've been trying to beat LoM on the home version of Extreme. Just yesterday, I found out that the speed is 333 BPM, not 300 BPM! That would explain why I can do the jumps of Drop Out with a fair amount of ease while LoM's jumps drain my life away. So far, the farthest I've gotten myself without failing on that song is the section with alternating pauses and jumps.
My favorite song is Tsugaru (again, not the dumb-downed challenge version). What's up?
