I came on this site six months ago. I haven't been active much since I haven't much access to a comp. I live in Las Vegas((I'm up and over @ Sam's Town every Friday)), and I've been playing DDR continuously for a whole year now. But I first stepped on the DDR pad seven years ago. I guess I'm pretty good at it. I don't play as much as I used to though. The song I recently passed is PARANOiA Survivor 270. . . finally. I've been wanting to pass that song forever; even if I do hate the song. I guess that's it. . . |

Sorry in advance for the lllooonnnggg intro....
This is a true to life nickname of mine. My wife's nickname is Werma and we both go by Wer to each other. Real names are Pierre and Yusi (pronounced Juicy).
We discovered DDR in North Bay Ontario Canada and were hooked since. We bought Extreme US about Sep 25 2005 from the Customer Fulfillment Centre of EB Games because we couldn't stand waiting for the game. It only made it to Canada late October early November?
My wife is much better than I but she's now out of practice because she's 8 months pregnant and was told after week 12 not to play DDR anymore! Although we have played on occasion she has limited herself to light for everything except V which she loves to do Standard. She hasn't played with her feet for about 3 weeks now either.
I've since improved significantly and can do 5-7 'foot' songs. We are only missing the original DDRUS to round out our PS collection. I actually found Disney Mix brand new last Christmas in North Bay in a clearance bin! Pricey at 40$ but I had to try Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious.
Our mutual favourite songs are V, Kakumei, Rhythm and Police, Abyss, and Speed Over Beethoven. A pattern perhaps?
Can't wait for EX2! |

Hey all,
I've been lurking here for about a year, decided to finally join up to enter the ITG win a game contest, but now that I'm finally participating...
I've been playing since early 2003 on a PS2 with modded dance mats. I managed to get my girlfriend, my brother, and my brother's girlfriend hooked on the game. Only played the arcade version a handful of times (hard to find a machine that's set up properly in Vancouver) but when I do, I have a hard time adjusting to the metal pad.
Here's a link to a site I quickly set up then abandonned, which only some close friends (and now you) know about. It has a description of how I modded my pads:
http://members.shaw.ca/dclee/dance_mat_mods_.html
DDR related accomplishments include: B in Max 300, C in Paranoia Survivor.
I used to play Doubles Mode a lot, until I got hooked up with a girl, now it's Versus all the time... :8)... which kind of sucks, 'cuz Doubles is so much more fun.
My favorite foods include: broccoli, grapefruit, and popcorn (popped in peanut oil in a pot).
And now you know why I lurk, I tend to ramble on if I'm not careful... _________________

My warm-up song is 321 Stars on Beginner mode. Right now Im on the border of Light and Beginner. Also, the sad thing is im 12. I write, and draw other then playing DDR. Right now I own a soft pad (Planning to get a new pad) and DDR:E. Im been play at home for sometime. I hope I can find other 12 year old people or Im on my own. |

Hi i am a student at St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Tx
I have always used this site to locate machines in the arcades. I have never been internet friendly so i have never done this.
I am not the best DDR player, but i love playing. Because i sweat the fat out of me.
haha
My favorite song is Kind Lady.
I don't push kids out of the way because i am very patient. I let people use the machine and don't like to hog it. Some people at the arcade hog it for hours even though they loose a lot. It bugs me, but i laugh because i know that their money could have been used to save for a console version to practice. |

Hello everyone! I'll give a detailed introduction of myself.
I'm a 16-year-old male DDR player from upstate New York. My real name is Michael, but most of my friends call me Mozee. I've been playing for about 4-5 months now and I am absolutely addicted. There aren't any DDR machines in my area (Binghamton, NY) so I have to use home versions. To break it down (pun intended) I play 5% Light, 55% Standard, and 40% Heavy. I play a lot of ITG and Stepmania as well.
I really love music, and play Piano (about 6 years), Guitar (about a year), and a teeny bit of Mandolin. I occasionally produce music with programs such as Fruity Loops or Adobe Audition.
As for my taste in music, it varies greatly. I am very open-minded and will listen to just about anything as long as I like the sound of it. My current favorite band is Mindless Self Indulgence.
I love anything with wheels. I skateboard and do aggressive inline as well. I can often be seen rolling around the mall or grinding rails and ledges outside of some store on my Heelys. (Really fun shoes. Check em' out! www.heelys.com)
I'd love to talk to other DDR players from my area. I'm not on any of the IM services very much because most of my time is spent on Xbox Live. My gamertag is M0ZEE. (The "0" is a zero) You are all more than welcome to send me a friend request.
___
As a side note, some of my favorite DDR and ITG songs are as follows (In no particular order):
From DDR:
Red Room (Heavy)
Istanbul Cafe (Heavy)
Max 300 (SMMM) (Light/sometimes Standard)
V (for Extreme) (Standard)
Exotic Ethnic (Standard)
Stomp to my Beat (Heavy)
Burning Heat (Standard and occasionally Heavy)
Mind Parasite (Heavy)
Love <3 Shine (Heavy)
G2 (Light/Standard)
From ITG:
I Think I Like That Sound (Hard)
Oasis (Medium/Hard)
Delirium (Hard)
Utopia (Medium/Hard)
Which MC Was That (Hard)
Queen of Light (Medium and sometimes Expert just because I like the handplants ) _________________

hey my name is Chris, I'm from the Plymouth/Kingston area of Mass. I normally in either Wareham or Raynham, Mass at Ryans Family Amusements. I'm an average player, I try more for PAing songs rather than anything else. No AAA's yet but I'm close on a few songs, I'm up on DDrecall under the name BlackHartRomance if you wanna see some songs scores I have up. Only two 10 footers to my name but it's better than none, Bag and Sakura. I am also part of {Team Lgendz} with the Elder of Nar. If you play in the area and are looking for someone to play with drop me a line on AIM at BlackHartRomance |

Hi there, I'm Taylor but mostly known as Tay or Kyou. I've been playing DDR since Christmas, and I play Light/Standard with a few Heavys thrown in.
My favorite songs are just about anything from TaQ/RevenG, Drop Out, True.. (trance sunrise mix), and Healing Vision (angelic mix). I currently play on a Konami Soft Pad, but I'll soon be getting a Cobalt Flux.
My DDR Accomplishments
B4U (Heavy) - B
Legend Of Max (Standard/Little) - B
Only You (Heavy) - A
You're Not Here (Heavy) - B _________________

Hey all, I'm Jay. I've been DDRing since march break (so about 3 1/2 months) and with the exception of the maxes and paranoias play exclusively on heavy (though often not that well). I play at the only DDR machine anywhere near me, at galaxy cinemas in peterborough. I starte dplaying on Ultramix 2, which despite an awesome songlsit, really sucks for trying to improve arcade skills so i use stepmaniaX and a cobalt flux now. Best accomplishments so far are a AA on sync heavy, and when i finally broke into 10 footers on monday with a C on sakura and a D on Max 300, i was so happy at finally being able to do that at the arcade. My goal is to, with alot of pratice, be able to pass every 10 footer in DDR and ITG by the end of the summer, but knowing my luck ill definetly break my leg or something when i only have one left to pass but yeah sorry for the long intro |
