Uh, read. This has already been stated IIRC.
RAW is a "song" on Exceed 2 that is unlockable for play by S-ing two remix songs. It's a song for doubles or "freestyle mode" on PIU. It's basically a little note from Andamiro thanking a company that they had done business with that helped them make a couple of their mixes (F2, I believe).
It's quite difficult as it wasn't meant to be played really. Fail is off so you can "read" the whole message. I believe it is 42 seconds in length and is a cut from the Exceed 2 theme song or demo music.
The only people to have passed it that I know of is a team of five people from South America which I believe is known notoriously for their skill in Pump. _________________

I have the video of the two people, but for some reason it cuts out right before the numbers come up for judgement so I dunno what their score was.
I find it seriously hard to believe that a single person passed it. If it was some random person in a message board then it's probably BS. _________________

RAW is only hard because it's stupid, though. Canon-D nightmare and Energizer double expert have crazy runs around the pads and stuff like that. RAW is just not meant to be played, with 10-arrow holds and stuff like that. If it's difficult, it's a gimmicky sort of difficult. I think it'd be passable by one person, but not full-comboable, if they memorized it, basically got down on all fours for the whole song, and did crazy, stupid stuff. Meanwhile, the ACTUAL hard songs are difficult because there aren't any gimmicks. They're just straight-up difficult. _________________

You have to go to Options and put the setting to controller. _________________

just figure out the step qualities they got a D

Me, [KOS]Flash, and Qkumbr are passing RAW in July, so we can be cool like the Brazillians. |

These wouldn't be full-blown 1/16th runs, they'd just be quick two-arrow drills (like LDL) to mix up the runs. That would add a significant challenge, and would also be more rhythmically interesting than just straight 1/8th note runs.

you mean like in tension? I don't think many people liked those.
And summer, IMO, is a terrible stepchart. Smiley's music just doesn't make good material for hard songs. Summer basically looks like a combination between delerium's streams and euphoria's excessive chaos. |

just as a side note there is not a single step in summer that I've found that doesn't go to SOMETHING in the music. you just have to listen.
EDIT: as long as we are talking about theoretical 14s
http://bemanistyle.com/sims/simfile.php?id=8961
that's my first simfile (I've made many others since), and it uses the technique of high speed 16ths like Brother Mojo mentioned. |

Yeah, I saw the video and it seemed like they got a lot of misses, which is why I'm skeptical (and the fact that the video conveinently cuts out right before the grade comes up makes me suspicious).
Have you actually tried playing RAW? I've played it, and goddamn there's no way in hell that poopy is going to be passed single player anytime soon. With two people it's believeable (albeit still very difficult). The only way even come close to passing it Single Player is to more or less memorize exactly what should be hit, and what you can afford to give up in order to get a D. Theoretically it's possible, but it would take quite a long time and I don't think anyone is good enough to do it. Maybe in like a year or so someone may be able to beat it, but definitely not anytime soon. _________________

I was just talking about VerTex, which is easy garbage when compared to Pandy. I don't know anything about PiU, yet I have a wierd sort of respect for it, since the different button layout makes my head asplode. _________________

Aaah, you have a PREX3 to play? So lucky! I like Exceed 2 and all but PREX3 has Burning Krypt, one of my favorite songs!
I BE BURNING KRYPT TIL I GET TIRED! BURNING MY KRYPT TIL I RETIRE! DON'T TRIP UP IN HERE, CUZ I'M ON FIRE!
So sad to see it gone in Exceed. _________________
