Do you guys think that these 11 12 and even that 13 should be considered that or do u think they r just 10 footers like ddr but harder only a little? I think that some shouldnt be that high of a difficulty like vertex shoulndt be a 12 I think it should be a 10 or 11 cuz its onlt that 612 bpm part that is hard but if u have that super cool mod c450 its e z to read.

Maybe you should stop using those helpful modifiers and then you'll change your opinion.

For the most part, I completely agree with the ratings. Remember that the scale ITG rates songs on isn't identical to DDR's. Vertex is a 12 because of the tempo changes and mines. When the file was first put in the game, dealing with mines wasn't a skill many players had developed yet. Queen of Light is a 10 for a similar reason.

Yeah i guess your right they are pretty tough, so then psmo do u think that would be a 10 if it were on itg or higher? Also i turn mines off and that is a skill im not used to and its just really dumb in my opinion.

PSMO would probably be an 11.

Think of it this way, if the screen says your score is disqualified, it means you're more or less making the song substantially easier for whatever reason.

It's like saying that I think PSMO is too easy if I put it at speed 3 (since scores aren't recorded in Training), or using speed mods for Bag (although only in principle, since scores are still legit if you mod it).

I personally find mines to be extremely annoying (I can barely pass VerteX mainly because the mines beat the hell out of me), but I recognize them as a valid part of the game and difficulty rating and thus keep all mods on.

Play songs with non-disqualifing mods and see if you still think the difficulty is overrated.

Yeah, VerTex is quite easy (controller) without mines. If you leave mines in... that's where the fun comes in. Also, I imagine it has to be very stamina-draining, even if the steps are not too technical. I can only beat HotN without mines or freezes, Tell without jumps, VerTex with no mines, and all sans VerTex on a x2.5 speed. So yes, the ratings above 10 are more than deserved.

I don't know because the end of Bouff has a few confusing crossover in just one run and it's only a 10 and I find Bouff more tiring than PSMO. It'd prolly stay a 10. I use Mythology as a semi-example, I find Mythology a bit more difficult than PSMO because it utilizes 16th crossover runs instead of PSMO's 8ths even though the BPM of Mythology is relativly slower. I guess it wouldn't be a stamina thing but more of a brain thing... ::shrugs::

You two are both right. C-Mod is for pussies anyway.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHA, are you retarded? Compare PSMO to The Beginning. The Beginning has more steps, way more cross overs, and a "death run" that makes PSMO's death run look like childs play.

The Beginning's crossovers are much slower than PSMO's and has alot less jumps.

HAHAHAHA look at all the boxes now!
Anyways i dont use too many "disqualifying mods" i just trun off mines cuz sumtimes my pad will blow them up w/ out me hitting the button, cuz my pad is getting a little old now and is starting to mess up sumtimes, useing no jumps or no holds or thsoe other handicap mods are really unfair it makes the song a whole different skill level.
