Oh, it was you who made that review El Mullet? I never noticed the screen name there ... One thing about that review, you CAN change the song sort but just not during the song selection screen. It's under Options then Game Options. Then in there, there should be a spot called "Song Sort". By default, it's on Easy Meter, but you can move it up to Medium, Hard, Title.. Something like that. Just to let ya know! Great game! Loading times are uuuggghh... but the game seems easier... Oh ya the difficulty must be easier... and the Syncronization seems little more different than the arcade... That's just my two cents, I know some don't agree on that. Oh but one thing! Censoring the word "Sexy" while playing Romeo and Juli8?!?!?!?! YOU'VE GATTA BE KIDDING ME! |
a few things that should probably be clarified:
-you CAN change song sort by hitting in the song selection menu.
-the game only seems easier because it is nearly dead-on compared to the arcade
-the timing windows are almost certainly the same
-oh well, censoring sucks. big deal.
-in the arcade, it only shows 12 bars for pandemonium, but the number 13 is next to it. so this is accurate. |
heh dont you mean inaccurate? cause you see 12 bars but it's named 13?
ya i know censoring sucks, just i think those are simple words that are unncessary to censor... and i know there are other opinions, i just wanted to speak mine that's all.
about the timing, i forgot someone had allready posted something about that.. oops but at least there's more than 1 place to change it. _________________

no, I mean accurate. it's like saying "hey, our dial goes to 11". That's how they have it in the arcade version, so it is accurate to the arcade. Keep in mind that the world "wasn't supposed to know" about pandemonium when the game was released since it was an unlock. If you saw 12 out of 13 bars on hardcore of the north, wouldn't that sort of ruin the surprise? |

I got mine through the mail last night, but haven't opened it yet. (but I'm itching to get home today!)
I've never played ITG in an arcade, since the nearest one is 150+ miles away. Will this game give me the real "feel" of the arcade version? |

yeah, the whole EVNT score recording is kinda lame, but no one else will probably play my game anyway, so it doesnt really bother me much. with no extra stage, there really isnt any reason to not play in event mode. however, it could be annoying for some who want their name in and dont want to have to start a whole new game every few songs; it takes long enough to load already. _________________

Yeah, that's probably my biggest gripe. Other than that the game looks great, although I'm by no means an ITG expert; today was only my first time playing it. |

Charlene
Normal
Mouth
Torn
Land Of The Rising Sun
ROM-eo & Juli8
PA Theme
Bubble Dancer
Thank you Red Octane |
I generally avoid those songs... but last time I heard them from the simfiles I didn't hear anything anyone could be offended by..... not anything you couldn't turn on the TV and hear anytime during the day.... |

Ugh. Shipping delay.
Not gonna get ITG until tomorrow morning. (like yesterday and the day before)

Apparently it's out, so a mall on the east coast would probably have it, right? If so, I could just cop it today. _________________

Got my copy delivered shortly before 12:30 this afternoon (located directly on the Chesapeake Bay, in case people are extrapolating). I've been playing for an hour or 2, and I'm happy with the game. Load times are just kind of "bleh" (not good, but not bad). As for difficulty, maybe I'm not that good at CCR, but I can scarcely pass 11+ difficulties. Things like Tell's 1/16 jumps *annihilate* me. Mostly, the only things I don't like are insignificant things (organizing songs with UDUD, instead of just Start, interface isn't my favorite ever). _________________

After playing some courses I must say this : I never really played any courses on DDR (I started off playing PIU and continue to) because they seemed kinda... well bland... but the ITG courses are extremely worth it due to the cool modifiers... sure DDR had some modifiers on oni mode but that put you too much at risk of dieing too much... and hardly any of the songs that had it were favorites (to me) |

ITG is still extremely hard to find here in the twin cities. I lucked out and found a nearby EB that got ONE copy in. Of course, they put the box on the shelf for display, along with no less than three stickers (the price tag, a "buyer's insurance" ad, and their "trade-in and save" ad). Worse yet, after they took the box off the shelf and put the CD in, they put a seal over the side as proof of unopened new merchandice. That's a total of FOUR stickers I had to carefully peel off my non-shrinkwrapped ITG box. _________________

Mine was shrinkwrapped as well. Looks like someone opened your box and swiped your Secret Decoder Ring, EBT. Now you won't know that you need to be sure to drink your Ovaltine. _________________
