i was interested in importing DDR Extreme from Japan and i was wondering where i can purchase it, for how much, and if it will play on a standard PS2 console?

I guess you just need to look hard enough.

i presume you need a boot disc, a mod chip, or a magic swap disc.

PSX Change 2 boot disc is wat it's called.

Mod chips void the warranty.

am i correct, cuz im still a lil confused too.

imchris4life hooked me up with some sweet sites on this stuff. You could get it the JP Extreme here, or here. And you can play it on a regular PS2 with this device. If you need some info on it, just PM imchris4life and ask him any questions you need answering.

Yes, this is the wrong forum for that, but I'm not locking it because a lock was requested in the thread by someone that's not the thread's author. Oh, no. That would actually keep me from locking the thread under normal circumstances.

You see, it's like vampires and houses. I normally can't lock unless the original maker requests the lock, just like vampires can't enter a house unless invited by a legitimate resident. (Depending on your vampire mythology.) PMs are usually a different matter, however.

The real reason I'm locking this thread is because I made a chocolate milkshake about three hours ago, and it was good.
