My personal opinion is that one should make their own metal pad, but I am rather biased. The RedOctane Afterburner is a good pad for $200. If you have money to kick around, and want to go high-end, get a Cobalt Flux for $300. The CF will last as long as you want it to work, and the Afterburner has been getting nothing but positive reviews, essentially (no one knows about its longevity yet, but I assume it is strong over time). _________________
