CobaltFlux brand metal pad. I heard that they're built extremely
tough and can handle an SUV driving over them. The assembly AND testing process is very detailed and although it adds some extra time before the pad ships, you'll be glad that they did it. |

Or, you could be sneaky and build a metal pad yourself for much less than it would normally cost.

To put this in laymen's terms and in a silent and calm manner, here is everything that should be said:
Congratulations and welcome to DDRfreak.com! I realize that you are, in fact, a "n00b" (as us DDrfreak members like to say) and you might not be able to understand the concept of where to put where and how to do it... but that's ok. It's a normal thing and part of human nature . So, just to help you out for future references, here are a little tips:
~Make sure that you first check the "Search" option at the top left of your screen. Type in the name of the thread that you want to make. Chances are that there might have been a thread already created and you could post in there. Or, that thread was locked for various reasons. The most common reason is because it was in the wrong thread. Now, that brings me to the next point.
~Make sure that you post items, such as threads, in the correct forum. Now, i realize that you may not know the correct forum and where to post what, but there are a few hints as to where to post items. Here are some clues:
1: If it pertains to the area that you live in, then try the regional board forums.
2: If it pertains to the technical part of DDR, try the DDR Chit-Chat, but if it has to do with "playing" the game, then it's in DDR Gameplay. They make these specific forums for reasons such as this. Otherwise, one forum would be a potpourri of subjects clashing all at once. Thank the mods for that! It helps.
3: If you're talking about a CF (Cobalt Flux pad) or your controller or even a metal dance pad, then that should be withheld in the DDR Controllers.... obviously
4: If it has NOTHING to do with DDR, then use the "Random Chat". You will find alot of random threads pertaining to nothing about DDR. Make sure, though, that you don't post DDR related items there. A mod will be sure to lock it immediatly and, also, alot of members will get annoyed. Believe me, i have experience .
I might have covered the basics and i'm sure that you'll get around better with this guide. Make sure though that you don't "modwhore" because this thread gets locked. What is it and why would you? Well, Modwhoreing is complaining and badgering the mods for doing something that you, basically, didn't like (emotionally). Why would you do it? You MIGHT (not going to assume anything) because you created this thread innocently and didn't mean any harm, but yet you get it locked. It's ok. It's human nature to get mad, but remember about the time when to get mad and how to control your anger and etc...
Their is also the option of using the "FAQ" section to answer any more questions. This can be found right here http://www.ddrfreak.com/phpBB2/faq.php.
Hope that helped you out with everything. Good luck! _________________
