We should have a DDR Freak girls club for serious heavy players that do stuff like scorekeeping or are good and stuff, but something tells me the number of active posters who would see it and actually fall into that criteria would be <20. E15.gif

Just kidding... laugh.gif

Personally, i think it was first intended towards the feminine audience and not so much guys. But, i don't think they made the assumption guys are pretty competitive. Therefore, it looks like there's more guys than girls because we like the challenge. (i haven't seen any girls play trully..... maybe one on heavy... riiight.gif ... heavy playing girls rock nerd.gif )

true you will see more guys playing the game and some girls depending on how much they are into the game still unisex because if it wasnt you wouldnt see 2 different genders playing it.

Market Analysts don't target any product toward just people in general, they target genders and age groups based on the product they are selling. And yes, DDR is targeted toward something, it wouldn't be good marketing strategy to target people in general.

I have definately seen more guys play than girls. the majority of the girls I have seen play however were very good, though the girl in playing in high heels made me lose faith in humanity... for a little while laugh.gif

Would you consider DDR targeted towards a certain gender? Do you seem to find more males or females playing the game?

I see it as unisex, but it seems there are more males on this forum, and when I asked my friend he thought it was "girly."

So what do you think? At the arcades, do you tend to see more girls or boys playing?

well around where i live i see more males then females but this is only regina around where the rest of you live thing s might be differnt
