|
|
I kind of dwelled on this for a while now after looking at a certain commercial. Like the JP DDRs where most of the liscensed songs are from the many Dancemania albums. What if Konami were to hook up with the guys (I don't remember the label) that are responsible for the NOW Albulms in the states? For those not familiar or doesn't watch TV that often, the albums come out annually with popular dance songs for the year (some are even on Dancemania like "No Limit"). What you guys think about this idea? _________________

Of course if something like that were to happen, KOA already shot themselves in the feet because they don't have the cd title token things on the song banners for the domestic home versions. People wouldn't begin to know what cd which song belongs from. _________________

I see what you mean by that. But by some chance Konami starts following in the JP mixes footsteps and adds the token things in upcoming US mixes it wouldn't be an issue. That aside, I think that it's a missed opportunity that Konami could work on.

Sometimes there's a good deal of "DDR" music in the NOW series too. Some songs in the US DDRs have been in the NOW series at one point like Days Go By and Castles in the Sky. _________________

I've have no clue what these "NOW" CDs are, but if Konami wanted to do something like this, it can't be that hard to add those icons to the song banners going forward. |

I do, but probably not shows where you're likely to see ads for hip hop CDs. |
