Sometimes it just depends on the keyboard you have. I used to have one that worked fine for triples and quads, but now I have a new one and they don't work anymore. frown.gif

It always depends on the keyboard you have. IIRC, most USB keyboards allow multiple keypresses, whereas most PS2 keyboards only allow 2.
It also depends on how your keys are configured in SM. I can press "abjiep" at the same time on my keyboard before it locks up, but also only "zs". The places the keys you press are are also a factor.
Advice: Get a new keyboard and ask if you can test it in the store (press all 4 arrow keys, and if the computer beeps, it won't work). If not, keep your reciept and take it back if it doesn't work how you want it to.

I'm sure if it was sold for profit, Konami would clamp down on it (I'm sure it's a matter of time before they clamp down on ITG).[/quote]

go into the key config section of the options menu and map a second set of keys like this

Left:1
Right:3
Up:5
Down:4

on the numpad. most keyboards allow all 4 of those keys to be pressed at once, so if you play a song with hands in it, play on the numpad. if it has no hands, you can stick to your regular arrows :0)

note: most keyboard will allow the user to press left down and right at the same time, and up down and right at the same time, so if you notice a song only has hands that use those combinations, you can stick to your arrow keys for that song.

Woah, thats a WEIRD setup.

It would look like this:

###
00#
0#0

Very weird indeed.
