Does anyone else play DDR alone and get lonely???

Right now I enjoy playing by myself. I am more confident that way. As well, I am not too fond of my figure, and I can't be comfortable in just the pyjama pants and tee I usually play in with someone else around.

I think when I get better though I will invite a few friends to watch.

Yeah, the arcade is definitely better with groups. I don't even care if they are better than me or not; just knowing someone is there to watch you and possibly cheer you on when you get an "A" on Bag; heavy.

Anyways, I got out 2 the arcade 2day and played DDR Megamix. It was a nice break from studying 4 finals and I actually got a small group to watch. Yep, my first arcade trip in months. It felt good 2 actually be watched while playing in awhile. I might sound pathetic, but this is how I feel.

I play at home and arcades but i still play at home for an extended ammount of time without getting lonely.....we all need competition every once and a while.

I play alone because none of my friends want to play for an hour straight, and they both suck (One can't even pass beginner and she's had her own home version for a few months now) and the closest arcade with DDR is half an hour away, and I'm 12 so I can't drive. Feh.

Here's an idea, start a club at school. I'm an Mom who loves DDR, so I talked a secretary into being the official school person for intramurals at our middle school. Once a month I take my pads and playstations to school for an hour. It's great. I even convinced the PTA to buy a couple of pads for next year. (pat on back)

I don't get lonely, me and my friends love DDR, and my sisters love it too! I almost always have someone to play with, unless I'm at home and my sisters are all out someplace.

If you're talking about playing by yourself (not with someone at the same time), then absolutely I like going alone. I'm starting to open up more and have more people go with me at the same time, but in the past, I was like "oh no sorry."

If you're talking about the arcade and whether it's better empty or full of people watching, it doesn't matter to me. I've done well in both situations.

i usually play ddr with my boyfriend but when i play ddr with out him its all boring and i get lonley none of my other friends play ddr so yea i hate playing alone it sucks pretty bad i always need a partner
